As an ex christian I can say very guliable. I walked past a local church recently and was horrified by the poster they had, it was some quote from the bible basically telling people not to think for themselves but let god do it!
I love it when christians say that proof has been found for christianity, what proof are they on about? The bible was written by man and a group of men in Rome decided what went in what wasn't. They only picked the bits that were best to brainwash and subdue the masses. I can't think of any archeological proof.
And for those who think evolutionists are gulible, it makes so much more sense than some guy making the world in a week. Come on please! Are you actually believing that a man could accomplish that? The fact that bodies of early homosapiens, whom we evolved from, have alot of the characteristics of apes etc is enough proof for me. Next they will start going on about the earth being flat. HAHAHAHAHA.

Actually friend you couldnt be more wrong. Jesus was not the first to claim being the Messiah. The scriptures tell us that there had been many before him that had made that claim falsely. Jesus Christ was the first person who fulfilled the prophecies of the coming Messiah given in the old testament. There are over 300 prophecies of the Messiah in the OT. I suggest you read them and then give a serious account to what he did in his ministry and his life.
How gullible would someone be who made statements about something that they have not looked at the information, they simply make assumptions about something they dont want to believe rather than learn the actual events around the subject prior to speaking about it??

no, christians are not gullible. There is over 200 prophecies that were confirmed to be written before the life of christ. the evidence for an inteligent sreator and the superior solidarity ofthe bible's factual archeological evidence, noethe less the fact that 11 of the12 died horrible deaths for what they could've renounced as a hoax and ddn't. the fossil "evidence" for evolution is missing major links in the theory. Christians may be the most fact based people alive. faith is what jumps the gap of knowlede and unknowns. It takes alot of faith to be an atheist. Jesus Christ could onle be Either a liar lunatic or lord. One is the most plauseable.

There were hundreds of prophesies about the Messiah, and Jesus fit every one. Not every Jew (that's who was expecting Him) believed. They wanted a political leader, not a spiritual one. Think about this: The Gospels were written forty to sixty years after Jesus died and rose again. If anything (the parables, the crucifixion, the miracles) didn't happen just as is written, there would've been people rioting and declaring the Gospels false. That didn't happen in the Bible times. No one came out and said the Christians were lying. The Romans tried to shut them up, they tortured and imprisioned them, but that was out of fear of their nation falling, not because they thought they were lying.
It would be like a veteran from Iwo Jima reading "Flags of Our Fathers" and saying, "yeah that's a great book, but it's not exactly what happened". There are people still living to contradict what is written about WWII. There are people still living to argue movies about the Civil Rights movement, if there are errors. That's the same time frame between Jesus' life and the writing of the Gospels.

When the word Blaspheme was made that was to secure the sense of not asking questions. To even think against what your religion says will lead to some bad thing. It is fear. Christians are gullible in every sense and you find when a christian breaks the mould and asks the things bugging them in the back of their heads they convert out of christianity slowly. Alot of christians are now christians by name but dont go to church or follow it as such but they are christians because they know no other way to live. CONTROLLED PEOPLE

The first, but not the last ;-)
Actually, you are confusing gullible with deluded and arrogant. Deluded and arrogant is an unbeatable combination. Plain 'ol deluded people are filling up mental wards all around the world, and they deserve our pity. Deluded ARROGANT people (a.k.a. Christians) are aware on some unconscious level that their belief system is Swiss cheese, but they have such tremendous egos that they'll gladly cut off their noses to spite their faces, because hey, they'll get a new one in heaven!

Religion is superstition, like astrology, alternative medicine, and the rest.
Take an example of Bertrand Russell’s in which we consider the hypothesis that there is a china teapot orbiting the sun. Someone might believe that, but there are many reasons for supposing it false and none at all for supposing it true.
it would be simply silly to say, for instance, to set store by the statement that the belief cannot be disproved. It may depend on your standards of proof, but in any event it is as unlikely as can be, and as unlikely as any of the infinite number of equally outlandish possible beliefs that we all ignore all the time.

Actually Jesus isnt the first silly...
The Pharoahs of Egypt called themselves "Gods on Earth", yet you dont see Jews and Christians picking up themselves to follow the Pharoahs now do you?
Gullibility is relative, some people (regardless of denomination) are extremely gullible, others arent as much.

How gullible is it to believe such a lie about Christians? lol
Jesus NEVER said He was the Son of God, but everyone around Him did. The eleven disciples, Luke, Roman soldiers, even Caeser of that time said it. The demons in the man on a hill knew it, they fled from Jesus.
Don't forget the demons in the church of Corinth (?) who found some guys pretending to cast out demons in God's name ... they said "we know Jesus and we know of Paul, but who are you?" and they beat and tortured the men before kicking them into the street. Yeah, even the devil knows Jesus name.

I would say vulnerable, than gullible. We're all affected by the human condition of living a certain life period on this earth, and most of us want more substance and meaning to the point of being human. So man has created religion to help ease, give a purpose, and unfortunately control these poor individuals who are fearful of their mortality and to help them to not abandon in making their society more productive. (Some people would lose so much of their lust for life and give up on it ,that they would willingly become homeless and/or beggars. Others would tend to commit suicide.)
