You do not have to have a roller cam to use roller rockers.
John Paul is wrong again!!!
5.0 rockers will not fit a cleveland.Summit or Jegs can fix you up.I used Crane Gold rockers is my Cleveland. You will need to have your heads machined .300 to add studs.(well worth it)
As far as a Cleveland being "heavy".They don't make a aluminum Cleveland.Keep what you have. The 351 Cleveland is the best motor ever produced!!!!

Ford made the Cleveland & the Windsor on the comparable time - The Cleveland had a weaker backside end, however the heads have been greater effectual. The Windsor had a much better backside end, yet vulnerable heads. All become solved whilst TrickFlow solid aluminum heads that greater healthful the Windsor yet had the air flow of the Cleveland. Now, the Windsor has all of it. Plus, the 5.0 and the 351 Windsor have the comparable backside end, so a 351W will drop top in when you pull a 5.0. I also have a 351W stroked to 427 in my '89 hatch lower back, & curiously like it become meant to be there. Have 550 hp on pump gas, plus a/c & all of the comforts..

Well the 351 Cleveland is by far better than the windsor. But, You can't buy the gas for the 351 these days.

Roller cam is also needed to get the most out of your valve train. Crane cataloge has all you need to really get the most out of Cleveland 351. Why did you select such a heavy engine? Aluminum Motors these days can run circles around the old cast iron boat dock anchors.

no but you could make them work but you cant just bolt them on and expect them to work correctly. Different disigne but like I said you can make them work. They clevelands use the same rockers as the 460 just so you know.

engines that have roller rockers have slots that they fit in, 351 cleveland doesn't have that, it's an old engine, so it won't fit
