No, I don't think so. You're right, God IS everywhere.

Strictly speaking, every breathing soul is on the path to hell inasmuch as hell is the common grave of all mankind and when we die, that is where we go.

As for God being everywhere, reasonably we could not say that. He is not in a house of prostitution or a drug den, is he? Moreover, 1 Kings 8:43 makes it clear that heaven is God's established place of dwelling.

And finally, Hebrews 10:24-25 admonishes Christians not to forsake the gathering of themselves together as is the custom of many. Notice the many Bible books - 1 Thessalonians, Galatians, Ephesians, Colossians. These were congregations. Obviously, the Christians forming these congregations gathered together, yes?

I don't believe in organized religion a result of having to go to church twice plus bible study every Sunday when I was growing up. I saw too much of what unchristian like actions went on with the parishioners. I believe God is everywhere and he has been a tremendous force in my life without attending church.

This type of question keeps showing up from time to time. You are right, God is everywhere and you can worship Him anywhere in any way you please. Church is a place where groups of people can worship together, but it doesn't necessarily make you closer to God if you go to church or not.

Yes God is omnipresent.
Hebrews 10:25 Not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together, as the manner of some [is]; but exhorting [one another]: and so much the more, as ye see the day approaching.

You may be. Probably more people who don't go to church will be in Hell than those who do go to church. Start by getting your life right with God. Jesus said. John 14:6 "I am the way, and the truth, and the life; no one comes to the Father but through Me.

Absolutely not. God is everywhere. And you and I do not have to belong to any church. Most Christian churches today are far from what God meant them to be anyway.

More like the path to sanity.

Jesus told us that the kingdom of the father is within each and every one of us.

This means that he can not be found on a far off cloud called heaven, or in a building called a church.

As long as you talk to God and worship ONLY him...a building is just that...a building! Being a front row (any religion) doesn't guarentee ANY place in heaven or hell...If that was the case...I guess there's gonna be alot of people downstairs in the smoking section!
