A light switch is digital, it's either on or off. A dimmer switch is analog. You can adjust the amount of light by sliding the slider or turning the knob, depending on which type of dimmer switch you have.

The volume control knobs on radios, and Televisions etc. are analog, (Usually) they can be infinitely adjustable. You can increase the volume a little or a lot.

A clock with hands is considered analog, But can be digital now. the combining of many digital pulses can make an analog appearance,

All computers were completely digital until a few years ago. all controlled by a series of switches either being on or off.

No matter how fast or how many processors there are, one computer can only do one thing at a time. It's just that the time period has become alot shorter now. Instead of being able to do a few hundred steps in one second now computers can do billions of steps in one second, all digital.

A film camera is Analog, the light on the film is brighter in some places than others.

A digital camera does pretty much the same thing, but then devides the picture into millions of little switch positions and saves them to a bank of switches in a silicon chip. Your computer monitor In 1024 X 768 resolution has over 768000 little lights that come on in different colors and combinations or not to display this answer. (the black numbers letters et. are lights that are not on.) This is digital.

I have analog gauges for my scuba unit: one is the depth finder that measures how deep underwater I am in feet, and the other is the air pressure gauge that shows in PSI how much compressed air is in my cylinder.
If you want to see what it looks like (sort of, mine's a bit different), check out the link below.
