I am a Christian and I do not believe in burning or banning any piece of literature. If I do not like what I read, I will simply put the book up. Same thing with movies or music that I do not wish to be subjected to, I can change the station and find something else to watch or listen to.

Not at all! I think every religion respects knowledge Islam as well I mean during the so called 'Dark Ages' they had running water and lit streets in Constantinople which was under muslim rule at the time. Even Arab cartographers were mapping the known world at the time.

The only time muslims should have reservations about science is when it infringes on Islamic belief.

Not all science is fake. The theory of Evolution is definitely a hoax and very unscientific. If it was very scientific, why propose theories with more holes to prop it up. I am a Christian and a scientist. So stop making general statements like this. Also evolution or the age of the world is not all of science. They are a minute part of science.

i dont think anyone should burn science books.
i think we should definitely keep all the science books considering some of the science books are bible, kohlam(hope im spelling it right), and many other religous books.
if we burn all the science books then we'd all be dumb...
i dont think they are fake and i am curious of where you got that from. i know there are alot of people who may not agree with me about religion but i dont think thats any reason to burn books.
hope ive helped you some with you delima.

burning of books is a tragedy no matter how one looks at it. look how much wisdom and knowledge has been lost throughout the time since man has been able to save thoughts and ideas. even if one doesn't agree the loss has been staggering to the thinking minds of today. where would man be today if the knowledge and wisdom of the Ancient People had survived. as they were able to perform certain feats we are unable to do today.

As long as you throw yourself in. Evolution is a theory. Why believe in something that doesn't give a full explanation? I know you can say the same about the bible but have you ever read it? Until you fully understand what you are talking about then I suggest you leave all the big talk for the adults! Go to beddy bye now! Night night!

Islam didn't mention anything about the age of the world.
and we don't reject the theory of evolution completely but only the part concerning beginning of creation and man.

I think it's stupid to say that an dynamic active cell was created by chance .. even creation of one protein molecule is impossible.

And no explanation why man is the only intelligent creature .. while there are billions of creatures on the earth.

You need to narrow the focus of your question more. Only a small sliver of religious people are anti-science. Some polls will show disagreement with science on 'certain questions', but that disagreement appears and evaporates depending on the wording of the question.

Why should we science of thing which looks the nature and all aspects with its own eye they need proof for all things happening, so only we have discovered lots and lots of things.

But Holy books are our belief and faith. Were we must not think of proof example your mom has showed a person as your father without any hesitaion or disbelief your agree it till now likewise all.

There is huge ignorance in American Christianity and no shortage of closed minded Muslims either. The monotheisms have done us no good. Most of these people too easily reach for a gun and in most of the countries where they are strong dreadful methods of capital punishment are common.
Intelligence, education and a comfort with asking difficult questions are much more useful than 'faith'.
