Ok I don't know where you live or what type of neighborhood you live in. Some of these ideas may not work for your area but you are asking so I am giving suggestions.

1. recycle newspaper, cans, plastics, cardboard, and anything else you find at home.
2. Ask prinical or student council about starting recycling at school encluding dumpsters at school that can be used by community for newspapers and other items. Work with local trash collection company to get dumpsters. Get the word out to neighbors and local business about recycling efforts.
3. Organize group of people at school/church/religous organization to help clean up any empty or vacant lots in your area. Find out who owns in. If possible find out if they will donate land to create neighborhood playground/ park.
4. If there are condemned homes in your neighborhood, find out when the city is planning to tear them down. See if you can push to have them torn down sooner. Ask city if possible to have land donated to neighborhood group to create green space for park/ playground. Organize parents to help do work to build and monitor playgrounds.
5.Raise funds to build playground so children have save place to play. Work with local companies about donating to fund. Work with large companies for donations.
6. Use part of green space so neighbors can grow vegatable gardens.
7. Join/organize neighborhood watch group to help protect everyone. Work with police to keep crime down in your neighborhood.
8.Organize people to help older residents clean yards and/or minor home repairs. Like painting, fixing stairs, or whatever is needed. Find out if local habit for humanity can help you.
9. If there is boys or girls club in neighborhood, find out what you can do to volunteer there. Many need tutors and mentors for younger children. Or if you have local ymca see if they have after school programs that you can volunteer to help at.
10. IF you don't have a local group like this then find out what is needed to have one in your neighborhood. OR work with local church/religous organization to start after school program to help younger children in neighborhood.
11. Work with city to have broken street lights replaced. Or have them installed. There should be federal/state/ or local grants you can apply for to help cover the cost of these improvements.
12. Keep your thermostat set a slightly lower level and wear a sweater. Example set thermostat at 68/70 instead of 75 in winter. Also when no one is home turn down thermostat to 65.
13. Ask your principal to keep school thermostat at 68/70 instead of 75 in winter. Everyone can wear sweaters. Also ask your local church to keep thermostats at 68/70.
14. Walk don't drive to local neighboorhood business. Ride bus/ metro/subway system instead of driving.
15. Work with local neighborhood association/religous organization to organize group to help older residents get to grocery/department store like walmart/meijer or to do shopping for them. To help them get to dr appts or other appts.
16. Work with meals on wheels to deliver hot lunches to older residents/shut ins in your neighborhood.
17. Report criminal activity to police. Work with police to shut down any places where drugs are made/sold.
18. Have neighborhood block party. Meet and get to know your neighbors.
19. Volunteer at local/neighborhood hospital or nursing home.
20. Support local business by shopping there.
Ok I will stop now. Good luck in your efforts to be good steward in your area.

From the rest of your questions, it is hard to figure out if this is a serious question. If it's a joke it's too bad. If it's serious, great. A lot of natural resources are wasted and the earth is disfigured some more by our burial habits. Cremation is better in the sense that your corpse is not taking up space but it is extremely polluting. Burial with no coffin and no cemetery is a pretty good idea. A few years ago, I read an article about a Scandinavian woman who was working on a process to basically turn corpses into mulch. Thanks for reminding me to go check on her progress.

Turn down heat.
Insulate windows and doors.
Walk and ride bikes more and use school busses/automobiles less.
