I eat pig because there isn't anything that goes with scrambled eggs like bacon. Demonic or not, I'm going to have my bacon.

Jesus dis not put the demons in the pig. He gave permission for the demons to enter the pigs.
Christians eat pork because of Acts 10;10,

That's a good question. I know Muslims don't eat pigs because they say they're "dirty" . In the Old testament , Jews aren't allowed to eat "swine" too. In the new testaments Jesus casts demons into them. Recent discovery says pigs carry taenia solium, or Pig tape worms which are hard to kill unless cooked at a very high temperature. There've been many many cases of pig tape worms infested in people. Perhaps those Books do carry some significance.

When feeding a family, its cheaper than beef, maybe Jesus didn't think about that. Jesus should have forced the rich people to pay more and the cattle handlers to produce more beef to sell domestically and sell less to Japan. Then us working class people living and building for the rich could eat healthier. OH! well the Dr. and drug company would loose money.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but I believe those particular pigs bailed off a cliff to their deaths. The rest of the pigs in the world were unaffected.

most people do not give much thought to what they eat..
and, they eat pigs because they were raised to eat animal flesh...
I personally feel that it takes some intelligence to think about what you are actually putting in your mouth when you eat meat...you are eating a murdered animal...
i know people will disagree with me...but, the truth is the truth....

Makes you wonder though. What were people doing herding pigs in Palestine in 1BC. Wasn't everyone jewish at that time? Who was going to use these pigs?
