He never wants me to go home, he always acts sad when I leave. He tells me that he doesn't want to hang out with anyone or be around other people, all he needs is me. But when he's got a day off, the day before he doesn't call me doesn't come to see me, and stays gone from home so he won't have to see me. Then he goes off and gets really drunk with all his so-called friends. He doesn't want me to know. Then he'll come by the next day and expect everything to be wonderful, and for me to take care of him while he's hungover.

Your boyfriend's a jerk. He's only using you to act as his Mom. He has a whole truckload of self pity. He seems to be ultra possessive.

Sounds like a USER. I would really think about if this is the kindof person you want to be with. He wants you around, to entertain him when he has nothing to do or if his "friends" don't call....but the minute he's got plans, he doesn't want to know you. And to top it off, doesn't even include you. That's rotten behaviour and I wouldn't tolerate it. Tell him straight up how you feel...if he doesn't sober up with his drinking and his misbehaving I'd find a new man...

he means he is possessive, can controlling, and has serious characteristics of being abusive. Get out now, he is very insecure. Its a cycle they go through their loving, and dont want us to be near anyone else because their afraid someone else will see through them, then they do what they want cause they think its ok for men to do it and then they act like nothing ever happened, and so apologetic. In the future if you stay with him the added step to the cycle will be a slap, push, choke etc. GET OUT NOW!!!

This describes my ex. Everything was perfect but noone knew he had a girlfriend. He cheated on mw left and right and partied hard. He'd come around late at night and cling when I was around. He was very emotional and later it beacme abusive. Your not being treated well at all. It shouldnt be like this and you dont need this bull! Leave him quickly.

Leave the guy, he is being manipulative and controlling, and getting drunk with his friends all the time is not the best thing for his health....

your boyfriend doesnt respect himself and therefore cant treat you with respect... he says one thing and does another, which means he has no integrity.
he sees you as a convenience, and doesnt care about you or anyone else. best thing you can do is say goodbye and work on your self esteem so that you wont attract people like this anymore.
we attract the same people until we get strong in ourselves and say no to it.
hope this helps :)

Well, I would say he's either a nice guy with a problem and who wants to be with his friends sometimes, or a person who's merely using you as the person to pick up his shattered pieces.

Does it feel good to be used? Require people in your life to respect you, your needs, wishes, and desires and you'll keep louses like this guy away. PS. He's an alcoholic and you are enabling him.
