How do you create soundbites from music files?

If I wanted to add a little music, say 30 seconds of a song, to a short video how do I do that? What type of software do I need?

First, go to ALL PROGRAMS, ACCESSORIES, ENTERTAINMENT and click on SOUND RECORDER. With Sound Recorder open, just play the song and hit 'record' at the part you want recorded. Then save this file to a folder. Next, open Windows Movie Maker and add it to the video file. Hope this helps.... good luck :-)
