I imagine it varies greatly by location. I am in Ohio and used to work for a dentist. We sold a full set of dentures for $1675. BUT, there are places that will make a set of dentures onsite in 24 hrs. that cost a lot less ($700). I'm not sure about the quality of these dentures, but they say that they cost less because the lab is onsite, therefore no lab costs to the dentist.

I'm sure that all dentists set their own prices, so your best bet is to call around and get prices locally.
