I don't have children but if I had a little girl I want to call her Phoebe Lou-Ellen because I like the way the name just rolls of your tongue!
For a boy I like quite old fashioned names such as George, Harry, Gordon, Edward but if I had a little boy I'd love to call him Brendan because its the name of someone I will always love and admire.
Not too unusual but different enough!

names weird yet wonderful to a parent can have a devastating effect on the child. i urge parents please, if you're just in love with a stupid name, get yourself a cat and name it whatever. children have a hard enough time socializing.
There is on this page a name that will have a severe impact on the child. Perhaps when she is thirty something she will embrace it, but until that time there will be a terrible stigma associated, whether subtle or overt. why do people do this? Think of your children before your dumb little fantasies people.

I have two sons, Kolt Weston and Logan Maddox. One of my cousin's friend's names was Colt and I always thought it was a strong name. I got Weston out of a phone book(hey, whatever works). My husband named Logan because he thought that Maddox was a good strong name. He was going to be Jake Logan, but there are too many J names in his family. I also love the name Walker and Eli.

My son is named Ryan. The R is my husband's first letter of his name Riaan. Y is the last letter of my name, Shelley and an appears in both our second names, his is Anton and mine is Ann. Only later did we hear it means little king. My daughters name is Caylin. I first wanted to name her Caitlin, but saw the name Kay-Lynne in an article. When she was born she looked more like a Caylin than a Caitlin and Caylin means free spirited, which describes her perfectly

My daughters name is Kaitlyn Cheyenne. The reason for it was because her great grandmother loved the named Katie and wanted to call her great granddaughter that. My mother who passed away 2 weeks before I found out I was pregnant loved the name Kaitlyn Also, my grand father was a full blooded Cherokee Indian and I wanted to continue our Native American ancestry. So her name is Kaitlyn Cheyenne, and we call her....Katie.

I don't have any kids yet.
My name is Keiran. I am named after James Keir Hardie, the famous Scotish founder of the labour party. My mother wanted to name me Keir but as my dad found the name effeminate they compromised with Keiran.
