Some breeds that have a tendency to do better with children and be more accepting of other pets include the American Domestic Shorthair, Exotic Shorthair, Maine ****, Persian, Turkish Van, Ragdoll, American Curl, Himalayan, and Manx.
The Persians & Himalayans are a very long haired cat breed and they require a lot of care and grooming, espeically around the face and anal area. Because you have many other animals, you may want to consider the shorter hair breeds.

I don't think you'll have much luck getting a cat that isn't going to be interested in the mice and the fish. If you are a single girl i would recommend a Siamese. If you have a partner or children i would suggest a ragdoll or devon rex.

well, yu realy have to look very carefully becuase you will need a cat that:
1) loves you back coz you love animals
2) is scared of mice because you have some in your house as pets
3) can stand up to animals that are bigger than itself becuase you have a dog
4) hates fish becuase you have one living in a bowl

One that responds to you when you pet it! A cat seems to pick the person that they like! Be sure that the cat can't get to your mice-if you want to keep them!

hi, i have a ragdoll and fish. chloe the cat is only interested in drinking the fish tank water than getting at the fish if thats a help

well it depends on wat kind of cat u want if u get a cat make sure to put your mice and fish somewhere where it can't hurt them and keep the dog away from the cat HOPE THIS HELPS

Since you have all them animals i guess any kind of cat would do you as it seems to me that you really love animals and any cat that gets you as an owner will be delighted

u have mice and u want a cat?!::))) u'll just get your home look like circus!!i recomand siamese because they are lazy and maybe they won't get any interes on your mice..and they like special food and won't even look at them..hopefully..but don't get a birmanese!!they're little demons!they would ruin your house..and surely eat your mice.. ::)))

if i were u, i would get any cat....just make sure it gets fat and lazy so the dong will be scared, and so it wont catch ur mice/fish
