I definatly agree Anything by Jackson Pollock is sooooo over rated i mean brilliant paintings lots of fun but really millions of dollars for splashed blotchy paints a bit ridiculus

The latest auctioned work by Picasso. He was a great artist but he was also over-rated and he took credit for being an originator when he was more of a follower (cubism was Braque's idea, not Picasso's). He gained his fame by being a self-promoter and there's nothing wrong with that but he was not as great as some of his contemporaries such as Matisse for example.

IMO the Mona Lisa. The painting needs to be cleaned, and I believe there was originally more of it.

Yes, it is a fine painting, but it overshadows many other fine paintings, many in better repair.
