good question. i think the mind can go as far as you allow it to i think the mind also works more like intune to your heart for eg. if you love someone very much and you have the fear of them leaving you then you can allow your mind only believe a certain amount of freedom to let go of the thought because yor heart is filled with scincere fear for somthing you dont know that will happen for sure. its more like if you trust your instinct on a basic decision then you are capble humans are animals created with the concious mind and our concious mind allows us to act instinctivly like the animal but with reson and retionality but in certain cercumstance we act on impuls because of what we fear in life because we not always 100% aware of or whats going on around us but i think if a lion is runing after you then you sure run the fastest you have ever ran or if you could never climb a tree and the lion was chasing you you have a pretty good chance of climbing that tree im not saying your mind is pushed by fear only but i do think that there has to be some motivation behind what you do and that comes back to emotion back to how you feel . ill ask you a question if you where on a cliff and there was a invisible bed to catch you would you jump? it can be simple or complicated but my point is really the mind can go as far as you want it tooo ......

Interesting question. I suppose the first step to answering would be to find out how exactly the brain stores information. We still don't quite know. The fact that we forget would seem to indicate that it does have it's limits. Remembering every detail of everything you ever experienced would be a huge advantage, would it not? If there was no limit to the knowledge we could accumulate, there would be no reason we'd need to forget.

No limits. The human mind is capable of creating such a brilliant manifestation of God, and then we say God is limitless. When a creation of man can be so limitless, the human mind obviously has no limits.

I believe the possibilities are limitless...although keep in mind also that Christ has said, "I am the vine; you are the branches. If a man remains in me and I in him, he will bear much fruit; apart from me you can do nothing." And the prophet Jeremiah declared, “This is what the Lord says, he who made the earth, the Lord who formed it and established it – the Lord is his name: ‘Call to me and I will answer you and tell you great and unsearchable things you do not know.’”

Mind is spirit. We can go anywhere in Creation just by
thinking about it.
We are not babies that our Creator will do everything for us.
We are very powerful physical/spiritual beings. And we must
learn self-control.
Our Creator is a good teacher. And a good teacher doesn't
do your homework for you.

We have the spark of God-the Source-within us. We are all co-creators with that source. Therefore, the human mind is limitless. I AM THAT I AM.

further than you can imagine .. because if you can imagine it then you're already looking on it from outside , thus you're already further then that point ..

well, accept it as another interpretation of word "infinity" :))

P.S.
and that is definetly much farther then a limited materialistic and "kept in the box of materialism" atheist can go ..
