A few weeks back I quit smoking after 8 years, now I notice that I have a few small circular burn marks on my lips, even though you have to get close to see them, I would like to get rid of or at least lighten them out. I was hoping there was a special ointment for this. Thank you in advance for your educated response.

You can start by using lip gloss. I don't really use them but they sure do work. They make your lips tasty and shiny for kissing. hehe
