Thinking about my mother's death. I was with her, and she was my best friend. I had to whisper to her to let go and be with God. She was ill and almost 88 yrs. old in a nursing home. I cried like a baby. It has been two years and when I am happy, I think, I must call mother, but then I stop and think, she is not here any more. I get very sad.

I live in Beijing.
It's a huge city, and there are so many people who are constantly surrounding me, but somehow I end up feeling extremely lonely. And I just don't understand this. I don't understand why I feel this way.
Feeling lonely makes me sad. I love being around people who have interesting things to talk about and that can constantly keep me engaged in a conversation.
I hope this helps!

not living up to my potential, other than that I don't really ever get sad, just lonely sometimes. If I feel down, it's pretty easy to find something to take joy in again, even if it's somebody else's joy. Sad doesn't really ever get to me, just sort of melancholy sometimes. Sometimes I'll be sad for somebody else, but even that is more pity than sadness.
Laughter is a good cure for anything.

lots of things make me sad, the rain, the cold, if it isn't snowing, missing my mum and dad, beacuse I can't see them everyday, i am sad when i hear there is another war going on in the world and that lots of people are being killed, when animals are being mistrated and puched and shoved around, it makes me sad to think that there might be really horrible people out there in this world, who are selfish and only think of , I am sad when I can't cuddle with someone at night, or when I lose at pool with a friend, when the computer crashes and the bus is late, and i have missed my train, when the heel of my shoe catches in the ground, and I am walking off barefoot.............. but i am happy being me, and being able to breathe, and having a lovely family, and lots of lovely friends......
happiness and peace is what we should all try to achieve inside ourselves

Hello Julz
one day when i was a kid i came home from school and my dog prince would usually be waiting for me. I thought it strange him not being there. When i got into my house my Mum looked at me like there was something wrong with me. I ask her whats the matter and she told me Prince was knocked down,,,,,,,, Now i was 10,,,,,, I started getting real mad and my Mum slapped me(What did i do to get slapped) It was my dog. I can still feel the sting of her slap and now i am 42. My poor Prince no one else seemed to care in fact i never saw him again. To this day my Mum has never told me what they did with him. Then again i don't think i want to know.
