but he was the one who didnt want to be boyfriend and girlfriend anymore. and said to me will have a casual relationship and we can see other people. which guy do i stay with?
but i still love my ex-boyfriend and ive known this other guy for a while to.

Your ex wants to be able to have sex with other people but doesnt like the idea that you may do the same. If it bothers him that you are seeing someone else, so what. It was his idea. It is always the mans idea for such an arrangement and they always get mad if they think you are actually seeing someone else. Get rid of the ex. He sounds like a pig.

Casual relationships are very hard to deal with, especially with ex partners. Given you're still seeing him since you guys broke up can in a lot of ways blur the line between breaking up and staying together.
If he is the one who told you that he doesn't want to remain as boyfriend and girlfriend, and also said that he wants you both to see different people, then he can't expect to get hurt when you go out with another guy. It's not fair on you.
If I were you I would end the casual relationship thing you guys have as all it will lead to is jealousy and difficulty in moving on. If he wishes to get back with you after that, that's great, but he doesn't then move on and find another guy who cares about you enough to want to date you.

It sounds like he did not want to break up --- so maybe have a little chat with him and find out what he really thinks then make a decision
