Is that really English? I have overheard a conversation and now I am confused. Is this American-English, Englich-English or "Denglish" (English-German) or is it Yiddish ? Or is it just sloppy... "Gettho-Slang" or baby-talk ???

Please, be so kind, do help me. I am a bit confused.....

this is english, cuz 'what', 'give', 'for' and 'breakfast' are all english words. only their formation isn't correct. this is not a sentence at all - maybe the person who sed this is a little confused about grammar and stuff or is inept at english or simply is too thick to string the right words together and speak correctly.

I've never heard the ghetto-slang "what give for breakfast," but I'll start using it just to see what happens...

on second thought, nevermind. I've never heard of it, either.
