The fastest way I know is to stick it in the spout of a CO2 fire extinguisher and give it a blast. Instant cold.

plan ahead- If your going drinking on a saturday night just put in the fridge or freezer on friday and if you dont want to do this then mix it with something cold

Put it in the ice tray & spin it. Takes 3-5 minutes. It won't be ice cold, but it'll be cowboy cold.

crushed ice and saltwater. submerging the bottle/ can. they did it on mythbusters and i think it took only a couple of minutes, although spraying with a fire extinguisher will only take a few seconds.
