Does it GIVE you dandruff?

I also experienced this one. I used Head and Shoulders for 2 months but my dandruff got worse. And to think that I was only using this product thrice a week for 8 weeks, the results drove me nuts. I stopped using it and switched to a non-anti-dandruff shampoo, doing the same routine (thrice a week for 8 weeks). My dandruff went away like popped bubbles. I was a bit perplexed then. Knowing that the other product has no anti-dandruff agents, how come it made my flakes go away? Then my brother told me that there are people who get their dandruff worsened and their scalps damaged by those anti-dandruff shampoos. What he meant was when your scalp is too delicate and you're using a product which is harsh for your hair and scalp, you are sure to dislike the results.

Visit a Scalpologist (someone who specializes on hair-and-scal care) so that you will know what to do. Or, if you dont think like you already have time to do so, simply look for this product called "Nizoral" Anti-dandruff Shampoo. It will minimize your dandruff to kingdom come. ^_^

I hope I helped you fix your mess. ^_^

no at first you might think that because its taking out the dry skin...but after you use it for 1-2 months it will work REALLY well and you wont see dandruff...u should use Head and Shoulders every 2-3 days. Hope I helped!

Well,it works for a few washes, but you're not meant to use it everytime you wash your hair (despite what it says on the packaging) as it will lose effect and yes, then your dandruff will come back. Just trade your shampoos every so often, like use head and shoulders every second time you wash your hair and it should show some good results.

I used it, and heat it. Coz it’s never help, till I find old way they do it in the country side of my country! Which is: there is kind of vinegar you just put on or 2 spoons in cup of water, (it’s kind of vinegar the normal one! not the apple vinegar!) before cleaning your hear! Then you start to move your hand on your skin. And you will see its makes the dandruff falling down, (but if your scalp have problem or sensitive, be aware of that, don’t do it!) then if you do that 2wice a week you will see result! I told my friends about that, and its work! After you do those use a good conditioner? Coz the vinegar will dry your hear, but its work for me, I don’t know, try it, then tell me!

Dont bother with any anti dandruff shampoos, they dont work. If you have problems with a dry scalp massage oil into before you wash your hair and make sure you have a healthy diet as well

No matter what shampoo you use, the thing is, you should massage your scalp while you're shampooing it. In that way, you loosen those flakes and dead skin on your scalp. Then rinse your hair very well so the flakes will wash-off and no shampoo residues will remain on your scalp. You know those shampoo residues when build-up can cause dandruff.

I used it one time, made my hair itch like crazy, some people are allergic to that stuff. My hairdresser told me it was 100% chemicals, made in a laboratory, pity the poor animals it was tested on.
