I sit down and count my blessings - my family, my health, all that I have God to thank for. And I think about the problem that is depressing me with the thought that what is the WORST thing that can happen in the given situation - and is it worth worrying and troubling myself?

What just like when something goes wrong? Or depressed in the doldrums don't want to go out depressed? If its the first then all you gotta do is get out of your usual life and do something you never normally would...and yes that works. If its the other..go to see the doc get a script for anti-d's...and yes that works!

Have a good cry. The emotional release often clears a dark mood and I feel better after it, of course people think I'm a little crazy to be crying for no real reason but if you don't give in to the emotions and just bottle it up then one day you'll explode!

it takes a while then I realize that I’m wasting my time, like yesterday,............ I was in pad depression for more than 2 or 3 days, I just call my friends I trust and love them, we had a talk to long time, then I call another friend, cook for all of us and I set down to hear her stories, then, I open the news, and see how miserable world we are in to,....... so I know it’s sad, but thank God we are I better condition, then I start see people in place like Iraq, or Africa, then I said I still have chance I’m Good, and I thank God again, I know he gives me chance, then with all that I feel more, better, trying to go more with people to forget my trouble!, but when I recover I think about what makes me feel that way , so I try to avoid it, .....so Dear try to work on what makes you feel that way, then you could manage that, so I wish you never have that depression, I wish you all happy

When I'm feeling a bit down, I just watch my daughter sleep. I can sit there with her for hours just watching her. It's the most relaxing thing in the world for me, and it makes me happy for some unknown reason. By the time she wakes up, I'm sitting there grinning like an idiot, because I know that I'll get a big hug and a kiss when she sees me.

Ugh...I'm such a softy.

Sometimes it helps to listen to cheerful music. Mostly I blog and vent about what is bothering me until I feel a sort of release from it.

realize that no matter how bad things are you are probbly much better off than others around you. Get over what ever it is, as far as friends are concerned, i'm sorry but people love hearing when others are down. What ever is getting you down is in the past and no longer exists, live for the now...
