I was sleeping in my room the other night and I kept hearing a thumping noise so I went and opened my door to see if my cat wanted in, but there was no cat there. I laid down agian and heard the noise again. I went and checked all of the doors in the hallway to make sure she did not get locked in another room, still wasnt the cat. By this time I was realy freaked out and I went back in my room. I heard the thumping noise again and figured out it was comming from my dresser. I walked up to my dresser, realy scared and opened it, and sure enough there was my cat. I have no Idea how she got it there but I thought there was a ghost in my house! : )

Peggy, my best friend has a cat that will jump in the tub if she is trying to take a bath! She has to always make sure the bathroom door is completely shut before getting in the tub.

Hi Megan... I had a kitty who loved giving horsey rides to my 7 ounce sugar glider (Australian flying squirrel) each time they played together. Photo of a sugar glider: http://netportal.de/images/content/tiere/sugar_glider/sugar_glider3.jpg

EDIT: Have you seen the cat who loves to flush the toilet for two minutes? http://youtube.com/watch?v=_QYcQ464ZMQ

Not a funny story, but last year I was reading late around 2am, when suddenly I heard my cat go "Maaa----uuu, Maaa---uuu." very loudly ( thats what he calls me when he wants something I equate it to Ma-ma). So I hollered from my room, "Yes, Snuggles? What does Snuggles want?" Suddenly I heard a thud outside my porch, and when I got outside to the den, I saw Snuggle behind the curtains meeeoowing with annoyance.

I turned on the lights of my porch... someone was tryingto break into my CAR!!!! Nothing lost, just a few scratches. My Hero Snuggles saved the day, I think he has an identity Crisis, he is a Burmese Cat that thinks he is a Bulldog lol.

My cat is quite strange. Not only does he have the ability to lay down on his side and still move around the room really quickly, but he can fly through the air backwards and attach himself to the dog's head, so that his bum is in the dog's eyes. He also gets this weird look on his face like O___o and starts reaching around with his paw to tap the dog's foot and rile him up. All his body seems to shrink up into his head. Sometimes he does this so much that he literally falls over. he's pretty damn good at flips and somersaults too.

I have 6 cats. They all have collar and tags. When they lose them, as they often do, I was always having to replace them. But enter a new cat : This cat BRINGS BACK cat collars he finds on his travels! He sits at the back door with the missing collar in his mouth!!

Another cat I had lost 3 collars in 3 days.
The following day we witnessed him hooking the collar off onto a twig from a bush! That's when we say his other missing collars all on the same twig!

hehehe, a few days ago, my 120 lb mutt got in the trash. He does that when he is mad at us. He was mad at us for going into the bedroom without him. (Stay with me, it IS a cat story) ... We are getting tired of the dog doing this, so this time, we tied him outside, which just NEVER happens to him, to get the point across.

Wellll.... our cat thinks the big dog belongs to him. He was so mad at us for putting HIS dog outside! He stalked around the house meowing in that mad yeaowl they have , then he came over to me and bit me, very hard, on the arm .... he never bites me ..... then went to the door and howled awhile .... then went to my hubby and bit HIM, even drew blood .... and continued the howling and pacing.

Finally, after half an hour, we let the dog in ... cat goes over and cuddles up with him (usual behaviour) and all was well again .... though we got the "ignore" treatment for a few hours ... from the cat, not the dog!

Years ago I had a female, chow mix, who was kind of mean. When she was about 18 mths old, I got twin stray kittens. i had the chow on the couch with me, and brought the kittens in to introduce them to her. She sniffed them awhile, not too impressed, but wasn't mean to them either. Welll, THEY started sniffing her, and before I knew, they had found her nipples and were sucking them. She laid down, although not too pleased, and let them. This went on, where she just would lie there and let them do this, still with a irritated and bored look on her face, until finally milk started coming into her 2 bottom ones. This went on for a couple of months. It was funny because they wouod chase her around and she would run from them and try to hide. She never took care of them in any other way, tho. Just let them eat. She had never had a litter of pups before this.

Sometimes when I close my bedroom door,my cat decides he wants to come in. But I'm sitting on my bed and I really don't want to let him because he can be really annoying (but I do actually love him) so he waits for a few seconds and than he starts scratching on my door, just like a dog and if I ignore him he wil do this for at least 10 minutes. eventually he gets bored and wanders off but most times he gets himself in!!!!

I like your story!

One night we forgot to close the toilet door. That day I had got a 20 pack of toilet paper while doing the shopping. The cats got in & SHREDDED the lot - we were knee deep in the house with t.p. They were diving through it & having a ball.
