how to believe in god ? when he is not seen, miracles are not seen - if god exists where does he stays ? he doesn't have brain how can he make judgements ?

Criss Angel and David copperfield are magicians and even if they fly how do they fly ? why we who are poor people cannot fly ? both magicians says they create illusions and its only magic - now whom to believe in criss angel/david copperfield (they fly, they walk on water...) or god (who is never seen - hidden everywhere, we just know him/her by name) ?

Please reply only if you know answer.

Seeing is beleiving - believing on something which doesn't even exist is a crime and a sin.

If god is everywhere then sins which are done by poor people is made and forced by god since god is everywhere.

God cannot make laws since he doesn't have brain, by seeing on criss angel or david copperfield magician videos i can believe that there is god but without seeing these magicians i cannot even say god exists.

If i take name of god and jump from 40 or 50 floor building will i be alive ?

There is no proof of god that he/she exists - what we are seeing on this earth is just coming from ages because there is no creation neither in animals nor in humans.

Can anyone still proove me that god exists with practical proof.(like david copperfield and criss angel magicians showed by flying in air, walking on the water)

If god taught magic to david copperfield and criss angel then why he/she didn't taught me ?

Where is the practical proof that god exist ?

If god is everywhere why he/she is hiding from me the one who hides or do mistakes is a sinner and sinner always wants to hide his sins.

If love is god, peace is god then why hate is not god, why sin is not god he/she is everywhere, does god have likings and dislikings like famous hitler does.

If god can think then he/she can make wrong decisions since he/she has brain like humans and if he/she doesn't have brain how can he/she think or make judgements.

This question is for the one god who is everywhere.

God can you hear me ? i guess he/she doesn't have ears since he is not human then what does he/she has which let him think and hear ?

Practical existence proof of god required like magicians prooved flying in the air is possible and walking on the water is possible through magic.

If god made us before we were born then we are his creation whatever sins we are doing are not sins because we are his/her creation - if we are doing sins its because of him he/she created us. (like a man/women creates dish for taste and it is created by man/women)

God cannot make decisions because he doesn't have mind like humans or animals has.

Where is the practical proof of existence of god ?

To find god, you must put on your god helmet. To do this, just stretch your sphincter muscle over your ears.

How to believe in God, in the sense of monotheism, or simply in some Higher Power, description unknown?

I have no problem with the concept of a Higher Power for the simple reason that it is logically so. We know material existence is not all there is, because the life of the mind, the intellect, the non-material part of being human tells us that. Whether you have a definition for it or not, there is something which is legitimately called a human soul.

Having accepted the idea of there being more than the material surface of things (and science can do that; ask any competent physicist), it is logical to postulate that there is a way to see this non-material part as above, superior to, more significant than the material. After all, we know the material deteriorates and is eventually gone, however long it lasts. Even mountains eventually become old hills and then disappear. Change is the nature of the material world. Still, there are structures and concepts and physical laws that do not change, and to these we attribute a superior sort of existence.

Having gone that far, why not label whatever is at the top of that heap with the name "God?" We don't have to have much information about its nature to decide it is there. However, the human soul also needs to see a connection between that Top and ourselves, and so we need to include enough personalization to use a pronoun other than "it." Most people choose the masculine pronoun; some choose the feminine. Many, like myself, use all the rich vocabulary of polytheism to describe what cannot be seen.

I find the proof from law sufficient. The laws that govern the universe could not come from within the universe. Laws are not self-generating. Law is the proof of a sentient being with a power greater than the sum total of all the power in the universe. And one cannot 'see' laws, just as one cannot see gravity or radiation.

For those who are not spiritually blind, God is clearly visible.

Brains are needed only by insubstantial beings. God is pure mind, pure thought. If his existence or thinking depended upon material things, then he would not be God.

Suddnly you cannot believe in God. at a very young age the parents have to teach a child to pray to god. In fact when thechild is innocent he has to learn to call god. Let me tell you a story. there was a small boy and his mother living in a village. athe boy wa around 5 years of age and he had to go to school to the adjacent village through a forest track. As in those days people were bold and used to send the children out by themselves. One day the child told his mother "mom" Iam afraid to walk through the forest alone.Mother told him "don't worry your friend Gopal will always at calling distance and when you are afraid give him a call" The child trusted his mother and when he felt afraid he called out "o gopal please come. Gopal appeared from nearby bush and walked him accross to his school. so also he accompanied him back from the school but he never went out of the forest. one Day mother remembered her childs fears and asked him "are you not afraid now?" The boy replied no mom
my friend gopal comes with me when ever I call him.
Now the mother under stood how god protected her son and she fell on her knees and thanked him.
It is that kind of simple faith which parents have to cultivate in their children.
I once failed in my 1x th standard . All others in the family had appropriate condemning words for me except my dad.
When every one finished lecturing he called me alone and said"
My son you just require divine grace thats all. So I will arrange for you to go and learn some chants in praise of the lord .Learn it an do it regularly trusting the lord to help you. I followed his advise and never again failed in any examintion Academic or otherwise.
God cannot be seen but he is manifest in us. The veda's teach
" you are the that"(Tat Twam asi).
If you accept this then you have to be as truthful and just as god.
Miracles are not thecriterian to know God. In fact there is No miracle as explained by my Guru sri Parama Hansa Yogananda
in his book "Auto Bio graphy of a yogi"
I would recomment to you his books and you will get your doubts dispelled and will begin to know what is God!

Magic is illusion. God is real and the proof is everywhere. Babies, emotional and physical healing, nature, special loving relationships. But you cannot SEE that God is there without faith. Faith comes with prayer, reading scripture, and recognizing enlightened thought.

No one can beat you over the head and say "Hey Believe"

The choice is yours.......The problem is that you want sight,touch,etc....

The Faith in Him is all I can tell you
I can however tell you that My Husband is sleeping in bed right now instead of 6feet under where the Doctors thought he would be 14 years ago

To compare the Lord with magic tricks is an extremely metaphor. You have the choice to believe in what you want to, however...that give you NO RIGHT to condemn some one else's beliefs. Its what the constitution is for...you idiot.

Just as some people have scoffed about the Bible, others scoff about there being an Almighty God. (2 Peter 3:3-7) They say, 'How can I believe in God, since I cannot see him? Is there proof that an invisible Creator, higher than man, really exists? Does not God dwell in everything?' Others say, 'There is no God or Buddha.' However, the Bible shows that just as all of us received life through an earthly father, so our original ancestors received life from a heavenly Father, or Creator, whose personal name is Jehovah.-Psalm 83:18 ; Isaiah 12:2)(Ps:26:4).
Jehovah has revealed himself to mankind in two outstanding ways. The principal way is through the Bible, which makes known his truth and his eternal purposes. (John 17:17 <; 1 Peter 1:24, 25)('1Pe','1','24-25');>) The other way is through his creation. By observing the wonderful things around them, many people have come to appreciate that there must be a Creator-God whose grand personality is reflected in his works.-Revelation 15:3, 4.
Jehovah God is the Author of the Bible. He is the Great Spirit, existing through all eternity. (John 4:24; Psalm 90:1, 2) His name "Jehovah" calls attention to his purpose toward his creatures. It is his purpose to vindicate that great name by destroying the wicked and rescuing those who love him so they can live on a paradise earth. (Exodus 6:2-8); Isaiah 35:1, 2 ; Being the Almighty God, he has the power to do this. As the Creator of all the universe, he is far above ordinary national gods and idols.-Isaiah 42:5,8), ( Psalm 115:1, 4-8).
During recent centuries, men of science have given much time to studying the works of creation. What have they concluded? One of the pioneers in the field of electricity, the well-known British physicist Lord Kelvin, declared: "I believe the more thoroughly science is studied the further does it take us from anything compared to atheism." The European-born scientist Albert Einstein, though reputed to be an atheist, confessed: "It is enough for me to . . . reflect upon the marvelous structure of the universe, which we can dimly perceive, and to try humbly to comprehend even an infinitesimal part of the intelligence manifest in nature." The American scientist and Nobel prize winner Arthur Holly Compton said: "An orderly unfolding universe testifies to the truth of the most majestic statement ever uttered-'In the beginning God.'" He was quoting the opening words of the Bible.
Rulers of mighty nations may boast of their intelligence and scientific accomplishments in the conquest of outer space. But how insignificant their space satellites are when compared with the moon that orbits the earth, and the planets that orbit the sun! How puny the achievements of these mortal men in comparison with Jehovah's creation of billions of heavenly galaxies, each containing billions of suns like our own, and his grouping and setting them in space for measureless time! (Psalm 19:1, 2 ; Job 26:7, 14) It is no wonder that Jehovah regards men as mere grasshoppers, and mighty nations "as nothing."-Isaiah 40:, 22.
Do you live in a house? Probably you did not build the house yourself, nor do you know who did. However, the fact that you do not know the builder would not prevent you from accepting the truth that some intelligent person built it. To reason that the house built itself would appear very foolish! Since the great universe, and everything in it, required infinitely greater intelligence for its construction, is it not reasonable to conclude that there must be an Intelligent Creator? Truly, only the senseless one would say in his heart, "There is no Jehovah."-Psalm 14:1 ; Hebrews 3:4.
The glorious wonders that surround us-the flowers, the birds, the animals, the marvelous creation called man, the miracles of life and of birth-these all testify to the invisible Master Intellect that produced them. (Romans 1:20) Where there is intellect, there is mind. Where there is mind, there is a person. The supreme intellect is that of the Supreme Person, the Creator of all things living, the very Fountain of life. (Psalm 36:9) The Creator is indeed worthy of all praise and adoration.-Psalm 104:24; Revelation 4:11 .

There are some whose belief in God was shaken by the hard experiences of World War II. At that time each country called upon its "God," whether of the Catholic or Protestant religions or of the Oriental religions. Could it be said that "God" gave victory to some of these nations and allowed others to be defeated? The Bible shows that none of these nations were calling on the true God. Jehovah God, the Creator of heaven and earth, is not responsible for the confusion and wars among the nations. (1 Corinthians 14:33) His thoughts are far above those of the political and militaristic nations of this earth. (Isaiah 55:8, 9) Likewise, the true religion and worship of Jehovah has no part in the wars of the nations. Jehovah is far above nationalistic gods. He is unique in being the God of peace-loving men and women in all nations. As the Bible says: "God is not partial, but in every nation the man that fears him and works righteousness is acceptable to him." (Acts 10:34, 35 ) Righteously inclined persons in all nations are now learning the Bible and are embracing the worship of the true "God who gives peace," the Creator of all mankind.-Romans 16:20; Acts 17:24-27.

Some people point to the divisions and hypocrisy in the religions of Christendom, which claim to follow the Bible. They also say, 'How can I believe the God of the Bible, when the nations that have the Bible are among those feverishly stockpiling nuclear weapons?' The fact is that, while the Bible remains always true, the nations of Christendom have become as far removed from Bible Christianity as the North Pole is removed from the South Pole. They are hypocritical in professing Christianity. They have the Bible, but they do not obey its teachings. The American president who ordered the first atom bomb dropped on Hiroshima once exclaimed: "Oh, for an Isaiah or a St. Paul!"-to guide men in this world crisis. Had he agreed with Isaiah of the Bible, he would never have dropped an atom bomb, for Isaiah advocated 'beating swords into plowshares and spears into pruning shears.' Moreover, it was Paul of the Bible who declared: "We do not wage warfare according to what we are in the flesh. For the weapons of our warfare are not fleshly." (Isaiah 2:4; 2 Corinthians 10:3, 4) However, instead of following the wise counsel of the Bible, the nations of Christendom have become involved in a suicidal armaments race. Any claims they make to being Bible-obeying Christians are false. They must face God's judgment for failing to do his will.-Matthew 7:18-23; Zephaniah 1:17, 18.
