adverb â€â€Synonyms 1. unlawful; illegitimate; illicit; unlicensed. Illegal, unlawful, illegitimate, illicit, criminal can all describe actions not in accord with law. Illegal refers most specifically to violations of statutes or, in organized athletics, codified rules: an illegal seizure of property; an illegal block (in football). Unlawful means not sanctioned by or according to law: an unlawful claim to the inheritance; to take unlawful advantage of the trading situation. Illegitimate means lacking legal or traditional right or rights: an illegitimate child; illegitimate use of privileged knowledge. Illicit, which originally meant simply “not permitted,†now most often applies to matters regulated by law with specific emphasis on the way things are carried out: illicit conversion of property; an illicit attempt to control the market. Criminal most often refers to violation of the statutes of penal as opposed to civil law. All felonies are criminal as are all crimes

They are purposely ignorant when it comes to legal VS. illegal. They distort the truth and drag other minorities into the mix to claim their case. Most come from Communist countries and thats how it's done.
Maybe they can understand this:
The law: US Code Title 8, Chapter 12, subchapter I section 1101 &
subchapter II section 1325
Immigrant: an individual who has received permission to enter and
permanently reside in the US. The written permission document issued
by the US government to the immigrant after successfully completing
required health tests, financial checks, and criminal investigations
is called a visa.
Alien: an individual in the US who is not a US citizen. After
entering the US, the "immigrant" becomes an alien.
Illegal alien: Anyone in the US in violation of the law. The illegal
alien has intentionally chosen to violate the law and lacks the
evidence VISA that they have observed all US laws in entering and
remaining in the country.
Most illegal aliens enter via the US-Mexico border, either alone or
with a smuggler. Other illegal aliens entered the US legally under a
student, tourist or other temporary visa (promising to leave at the
end of their "visit") and chose to remain after their visa expired.
When the temporary visitor chose to "overstay" their visa, they
became an illegal alien. Their original "legal" entry doesn't give
them upgraded status from the more common illegal border-crosser.
Both are illegal aliens, both are violating US immigration laws, and
both are subject to deportation.

Illegal, or unlawful, is used to describe something that is prohibited or not authorized by law or, more generally, by rules specific to a particular situation (such as a game).
Some would argue that in the legal sense the term is limited to criminal laws. Others feel that it extends to all laws (or equivalents like regulations) which are phrased in the form of a prohibition, whether criminal or civil. For example, if there was a government rule that a bank must maintain certain levels of data safeguarding in order to comply with a financial privacy law, and the bank nonetheless chooses to maintain a system that does not meet that standard, the bank's system might be termed as 'illegal' in that broader sense of the word.
Illegal immigration refers to the illegal immigration of people across national borders in a way that violates the immigration laws of the country of destination. In politics, the term may imply a larger social problem with possible consequences in areas such as economy, social welfare, education, health care, slavery, prostitution, crime, legal protections, public services, and human rights.

We encourage it. We look the other way. Our schools teach they're children without funding. Our hospitals give them free medical care. Our police let them go. Our corporations hire them for half of what they'd have to pay a citizen. We'll even give their children citizenship. The mess we're now looking at is OUR creation. We need to learn that deporting an illegal alien is appropriate

Because they're not concerned about the fact they're breaking the law, they're just trying to make a better life for themselves. Not that I condone it in any way but from their point of view, they're doing what is best for themselves. If you could move your family somewhere safe for a better life, would you? Maybe, it's just a sad fact that with all the illegals doing this, they put a strain on the police, the government and relationships between them and decent hard working people.

Come on, we know what it means, OK? But I'm just wondering why a guy would pick his brain writing this unenlightening post at this hour when he should be out enjoying some night life or something fun--it's the weekend and if my car wasn't in the shop, I'd be partying instead of poking around in the comedy category.

Why is Nina upset about her flag being depicted in a cartoon when in REAL LIFE her "raza" burned ours, right here in our very own country and fly it upside down intentionally when rallying for "rights" that are supposed to be reserved for citizens?

First problem is a language barrier. Second, there is no desire to learn English. Third, the majority of them are undereducated. Fourth, they are escaping a third world country to try to better themselves. Fifth, do you think they care about what illegal means in this country? I doubt it.

Thanks for clarifying that. Many of these illegals and their mindless advocates think that illegals are a race. Maybe you should also show them the real definition of racist, since they obviously don't know that word either.
Thanks again and one more thing,
