why do they do that. it stupid and selfish.

It's a cry for help, wishing to be found because it's a slow way to die. The throat, underarm, or thigh artery are much more swift and affective for those truly seeking their own demise. Stupid and selfish? Probably. Eternal damnation because you feel sorry for yourself sounds stupid to me.

I think it IS stupid and selfish not to realize that people who attempt or commit suicide are in terrible pain and not completely in their right mind. Try some courses in compassion.

the people who do these things usually don't realise they will be missed and that people do care about their wellfare.As when you get that low done in your self worth and confidence you can't see or think straight and you start to think that you would be better off if you just ended it all.However it is not the way to go , if you know someone like this offer them your support and see if you can get them to see a doctor. When they do see the doctor it is important for them to be totally honest with them so the doctor can give them all the help he can.........

They do it because they think they are worthless and they are depressed and think there is no reason to live. They just want to die. So that is an easy way to kill themselves. Very sad aye.
