why do all people think they are going to heaven when they die when the bible says only 144,000 will enter the heavens and the rest remain on earth? god did not destroy the earth man did because of satin. gods plan was for us to be on earth thats why he created adam and eve on earth and not in heaven - just wondering for my religion and not saying people who do believe in heaven is wrong i am just wondering for me

i mean satin influensed adam and eve to make a bad choice to sin so they became imperfect which then made man imperfect.
so even today its the same were still imperfect because of satin so on earth today were destroying it because were letting satin influence us the wrong way

It is a race, all the runners will not win for only one will get the prize so why do they run? It is because the possibility that you will win the prize that you compete, so that is why i serve, I do not know the future, I could die at any minute but that does not matter because in this moment in this second I choose to serve the lord my god. This is a battle for our souls which goes by second by second, not just one prayer for forgiveness then we go our way, we must be ever vigilant for the prize is too great to just give up. this is not a coat that we wear to look good and then put away when no one is looking. This a relationship like that of a wife or husband, we talk, we cry, and we struggle but we endure for the love of one another, it is the love of my God that is the prize, it is the hope that for eternity i will be with my father that i compete. Will i make it, i don't know so i ask the lord for his strength so that through it all, i will win.

What 144000, my dear that's old issue, the new one says ( "He that works evil will not be requited but by the like thereof: and he that works a righteous deed - whether man or woman - and is a Believer; such will enter the Garden (of Bliss): therein will they have abundance without measure.)40-40 Qur'an
One day the Earth will be changed to a different Earth, and so will be the Heavens, and (men) will be marshaled forth, before Allah, the One, the Irresistible;48 - 18 Qur'an
Man does not weary of asking for good (things), but if ill touches him, he gives up all hope (and) is lost in despair.49-41 Qur'an
i hope you get the answer!

You being influenced by the Jeh. Wit. group? That's a sect and should be ignored as much as possible. Their Bible translation has glaring errors, as ANY Hebrew scholar will affirm.
Anyway, that aside; read John 3:16. That tells you who will go to Heaven. Bunches and bunches of people, probably few left behind, as God MIGHT even give some a last chance at redeeming themselves as they pass on to the next life. Who knows? Don't put limits on God. If He is a God of love, I think he'd want as many as possible to stay with Him. Most of us have endless forgiveness for our children and pets.

oh man. that sounds like Jehovah's witness stuff. 144,000 souls can only get into heaven. So why do these people try to recruit more souls? Does it better their odds of getting the last spot in heaven, like an Amway Pyramid scheme? "You convert, and then try to convert other people. For every person you convert, and every person they convert, you'll get a percentage of their soul so you can get your spot in heaven, right next to our biggest converters. The last guy to convert? well, don't worry. I think there is going to be another flood or fire or something before that happens, so it's win-win!"
seriously though, everybody might think they're going to Heaven but actually I heard it's harder to get into than that. I don't think just saying "love you God" right before you die (after a lifetime of being Hitler or something) gets you into heaven. Guess we'll never know.

The fact that Revelations states that 12,000 will be taken from the 12 tribes of Israel (your 144,000), in no way precludes others from having gone before, or others going later. Revelations only deals with the end-days, and in no way should it be construed as pertaining to events before that time. To think otherwise makes no sense.
And oh, please, get your spelling right. "satin" is a soft fabric -- "Satan" is the prince of darkness. Okay?

IF there were a hell and a heaven (which I seriously doubt) and if the difference were being or not being next to god, then I hope I go to hell. That'll be a lot more fun.
