Jesus said:

"I and the Father are ONE"
"Before Abraham was, I AM"

So the Pherisees sentenced him to DEATH for blasphemy. They thought he was lying. Mohammid seems to think Jesus was lying too, otherwise he wouldn't have changed things around in his book. ALL Muslims are told that Jesus was just a man. They take the Christ out of Christianity.

Why would Mohammid change things unless he was trying to draw people AWAY from Christ and into HIS religion?

He (pbuh) did not call Jesus a liar. Jesus is a prophet, Moses is a prophet, Muslims respect them as well as all the other prophets. When u say something like "Why does Mohammid call Jesus a liar?" plz provide evidence to support what u r saying.

Muhammad (pbuh) does not call Jesus (pbuh) a liar. It is the church that has lied about him since he left.

When Jesus told some people they were the devil, did he literally mean they were the devil...no.
I and the Father are one simply means that Jesus is preaching God's message.

Before Abraham was, I am...this verse confuses many ignorant christians. If you understand hebrew and aramaic then I could explain these verses to you. However it seems like you are ignorant and just plucking verses out of the air.

Doesnt it say in the Bible that Jesus is the 'lamb that takes away the sins of the world'? Does this literally mean that he is a sheep? NO of course not. Please use your reason.

To call Jesus is a liar goes against the very grain of Islaam. God Almighty revealed to Muhammad in the Qur'an that Jesus was a righteous Man of Truth, as were all Prophets. So for Muhammad to call Jesus a liar would be blasphemy on his part. The correct question may be:

Why did later generations lie on Jesus by ascribing divinity to him when, he himself never told such a lie?

But like another answerer said, religions are based on varied principles. So there is no point in arguing differences of belief.

So to quote the Qur'an:
Neither will you worship what I worship. To you be your way religion and to me be mine. (Surah Al-Kafiroon 109:5-6)

Let me just inform you first that Jesus(peace be upon him) is one of the most respected prophets in Islam. Infact no muslim is a muslim if he does not beleive in the divinity and prophethood of Jesus(peace be upon him).
Now as far as what the the bible is telling you is something not very authentic and exact. The reason behind that is the bible was never compliled or written in the times of Jesus(peace be upon him) but was written ages after him.On the other hand the quran was written during the lifetime of Muhammad(peace be upon him)
The quran speaks very high of Jesus(peace be upon him) and his mother Marry(peace be upon him).
I would ask you to look into yourself in the quran and the bible and do a comparative study of both the books.

you're never going to give up, are you?

Religion is about believing differently.

Muslims believe differently than you do. Just lay off of it. You're just trying to stir up something, and it's pointless.

haha, i hope you got the answer that you wanted..judging by shadows LENGTHY article, maybe you will learn a thing or two and leave Islam alone once and for all.

"And (on account of) their saying, 'We killed the Messiah, 'Isa son of Maryam, Messenger of Allah.' They did not kill him and they did not crucify him but it was made to seem so to them. Those who argue about him are in doubt about it. They have no real knowledge of it, just conjecture. But they certainly did not kill him. Allah raised him up to Himself. Allah is Almighty, All-Wise. (Surat an-Nisa: 157-158)"

This is a direct quote from the Quran. These are the words of God sent to the Prophet Muhammad(PBUH). The Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) did not "change things." He is a slave of Allah just as Jesus is. No one is, "trying to draw people AWAY from Christ." People just misunderstood Christ at that time, so Allah took Jesus(PBUH) and will be sending him back to us. The Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) was the last messenger of Allah.

would you like to settle this or keep goin? muhammad[saw] has told us that Jesus is in jannat right now.does this sound like a lie to you?you still seem to think its muhammads book.as if He could pen what the illiterate like Himself could not.when will you learn? its you who called Him a God. its you who said son of God.its you who said trinity.not the muslims.what did He change but the notion that God has a son.or that God has partners?what?before abraham was "i am".were not the same words spoken to moses when he asked Gods name? " i am" was what He heard according to your book.so could it be that He was saying before abraham,"God".cmon,it should not be complicated. "i of mine own self can do nothing" does this sound like a man or a God?. really i think you would do yourself a favor to seriously consider what you believe.you say i and the father are one.ok fair enough. then how is it you claim He died?who took care and sustained the universe while God was dead?these are not trivial questions to someone who's concerned about his soul.

[5:72] They do blaspheme who say: God is Christ the son of Mary but said Christ: O children of Israel worship God, my lord and your lord whoever joins other gods with God, God will forbid him the garden, and the fire will be his abode. there will for the wrong doers be no one to help.
