At present the university offers 5 bachelors, 51 Masters and 42 Doctorate programmes in 50 departments of 5 constituent colleges. It also offers Bachelor of Education programme and 5 Diploma programmes in its 5 constituent colleges viz. : College of Agriculture , College of Agricultural Engineering, College of Veterinary Science , College of Home Sciences, and College of Basic Science and Humanities. An Institute of Agricultural has been established at Gurdaspur.
