HAHA....good Q. Beautiful people say that but it's not the truth.
Now, do ugly people know they're ugly ? Yes. I know they do.
I was an ugly duckling...turned into a "beautiful swan" sort of....
I got better looking, ok. But, i have answered your question I
believe. If "beautiful" people say they don't care how attractive
someone is,.....they are full of it.

How someone looks to other people affects the category other people put them in. However, the reality of the person can be very different from the category to which looks define you as. Beautiful people understand this sooner, because they experience too much choice. With lots of choice, you have to understand each person you know before you can make a choice. To a person who appears beautiful, beauty is not the deciding factor.
When you have no or little choice, the deciding factor is also not looks. It is the case that someone loves you, and that person is therefore right for you.
Looks matter in some ways. However, if you seek true meaning in relationships, looks ultimately don't matter. (although they may be an initial factor)

Probably because they don't really worry about peoples looks because they are beautiful to others anyway. They may say that looks don't matter but the truth is they are either lying or are just nice people, pick one.

It's not just beautiful people, it's self confident people. It's easier to be self-confident as an attractive person, so they're more likely to realize that looks don't matter all that much.

Beautiful people don't have to worry about looks, so of course they don't matter to them.
If they were ugly or average, then it would probably matter more.

because they're confident and have self-esteem that makes them beautiful...more than just the way they look on the outside. If you feel it on the inside, you definitely have got it going on.

hmm, i think looks matter, i know i would never date an ugly person, therefore i would not love an ugly or fat girl. thats just the truth of it ,it sucks but its life. i find that im much nicer to attractive people too and not very helpfull to ugly people.

As they are probably more comfortable with themselves, therefore do not see so much of a need to constantly obsess over looks.
