I have a Virus, it comes up as 'windows has encountered a critical error' or something..when you click the flashing icon on the toolbar, it brings me to the website, www.virusburst.com. I need some FREE program that will get rid of this for me, much help needed! Thanks.

get "hacking windows xp" book. it tells you how to custimize your computers look, make it run faster, and how to secure your system. a free antivirus program this book recomends is AVG free version, and Spybot search and destroy for spyware. some might say that spybot is a spyware, but thats because its not authentic. many people try to give others fake spybot programs. like spywaredocter. heres the links to download these programs: for spybot search and destroy www.spybot.info and AVG free version http://www.grisoft.com/doc/40/lng/ww. i would recommend the panda titanium antivirus and spyware 2006 with firewall. its really good, i tested it and all of the ports were stealth. better than the free ez armor protection my internet provider gave me. get panda or see if your internet provider provides protection. protection for your computer can start at about $40. thats why im saving for a mac.
