Enjoy Solitude

Not at all. Everyone likes to have some "me" time every now and again. It's just away for people to unwind and think and stuff. Do you only enjoy solitude, and not enjoy being with people? That could pose a problem i would think, maybe some issues with connecting with other humans, i don't know. If you like have you own little moments alone, there is nothing wrong with that. But if you don't want to be around people at all i would suggest asking a psychologist, that is if it bugs you. If it doesnt bother you, and none of the side effects of it bother you (like not being able to talk to people) then it's all good. I don't know if any of this answers your question, but i wish you the best of luck

solitude can be just a bit of me-time, time-out or down-time, which is great - recharge and off you go again. Solitude can also be a lifestyle - it can range from a conscious withdrawal from the daily participation of the community around you to going away and sitting on a mountain top to contemplate your navel. You need to determine your own frontiers here and to be in (self) control of the extent of your solitude.

Personally, I think that unless you have an external interest to channel your energy into you may breach the boundary of solitude and enter the realm of loneliness, just remember that while you explore be sure not to alienate those who love you.

I remember reading about an old lady who's body was found in her apartment by her land lord several days after her death. The last month of her diary prior to her death was published. Every day had the same, stark entry - "No one came". That is not solitude!

no it is not strange in this day and age it is hard to find it considering that even when we think that its quite there is actually a hole lot of noise still all around us ! in Canada when you can hear the army ants marching along a pathway or the termites eating on a fallen log then you have solitude! OK I,ll shut up now!

No I think everyone needs to take some alone time. I love being alone. I get anxiety and stressed bad so I like to close myself up in my room and watch movies, get online or just lay in the bed watching movies being alone. I don't answer the phone sometimes. Things get so hecttic sometimes some peace and quiet does the trick. Just don't over do it where you get sad or depressed. Enjoy the peace and quiet.

Are we talking me time or "hermit" time? You can't get into any trouble when you are by yourself - but then again its harder to get out of trouble too! Double ended barrel really.....also it depends whether you are actually a nice person or not - t'would be terrible in your solitude to discover you are actually an ******** and bo-one wants to be with you anyway!!!!

No it is a great way to really get in tune with yourself. People on the outside expect to much. It's hard to be around people that live to be the center of attention, and go to any extreme to do it. They never get to know themselves because they are trying to make others happy.
