I'd have to say your 2 year old shouldn't have gone near the kangaroo in the first place and she may have scared the roo by being excited to touch it. Some are more tame and tolerant than others it depends on species, moods and the fear factor. Anyway I hope your daughter is okay and your next experience at any zoo goes better for you.

Sue them in the Kangaroo Court.
Judge Wallaby will hear your case. If you get in early you'll get a jump on them and they won't be ready to defend themselves. Clean them out for everything they've got...sue their little pouches off them.
Go on...Hop to it.
Lots of love,
Joey.

Bit late moaning now, surely you had time to report... nearly
...... being attacked before you left the zoo.....
You do know they are wild animals not stuffed toys .......2 year olds shouldn't be near wild animals anyway , its you should be reported for abuse....

I know what you mean, they can be very persistent if they think you have food. They can be agressive too if its breeding season.
Tip - NEVER put your fingers in the wombat enclosure......you will lose them!
Sorry but had to laugh at the thought of people being robbed by roos! Were they wearing masks? ha ha!

You should report it to the Zoo but they normally have signs up warning of this sort of behaviour, so they might not do much about your complaint,
