Hair will grow and sooner or later a new hair will grow from the same spot pressing the other one out. Sometimes hair can break in half after growing long and gets damaged.
Hair on the head can grow longer then arm hair but it can vary from person to person some women can get hair down to there feet when others can only get it halfway down there back.
Easy way to put it is there is two stages in hair growth. Lets say for the arm hair grows to 0.5 CM then an new hair pushes it out. Stage one growing , stage two pushing out or something like that.

They will grow faster if you shave them or cut them as you do with hair on your head.

Lol, Um...every ones arms grow different...I think..I heard that if you shave your arms they grow out hairer & quicker then if you didn't shave...Lol...hell I dunno man,,
