I am diagnosed "borderline diabetic" by my doctor. ....am probably even more across the "border" now since I have gained additional weight since diagnosed with borderline diabetes a while ago....and high blood pressure as well..due to being probably 95 lbs. overweight.
I feel weak when I try to diet...low fat...low carbs normal protein......grumpy...and hateful.
When I try to go on Atkins...that was HORRIBLE for causing water retention...more than my usual...from all the sodium involved in those protein overloads.......and bad for high blood pressure. It is imperative that I get on a eating style that will help me lose gradually, healthily, and PERMANENTLY......But, what is a good diet plan for my "almost" -(if not "for sure") diabetes? I'm miserable...No energy....hurting legs and feet...I'm a hairstylist of 33 years old that stands on my feet all day...they swell due to that, being overweight, and hurt from the water in my ankles....much pain.....I feel 80 years old.....HELP...????

I was very overweight for years. About 150 pounds overweight. My legs hurt, my feet hurt, I was so swollen up that water would leak out of my legs and I couldn't walk a block without being exhausted. I knew what I had to do, really I think we all do, we just don't like it. To lose weight you have to eat less and exercise more. You have to take in fewer calories than your body needs to maintain its current weight. You WILL feel grumpy and hateful and many other things. It's psychological. It's your brain (that part of your brain that (for whatever reason) makes you overeat) saying HEY! Where's the food?!? It's not going to be easy but if you really want to lose weight you're gonna have to just buckle down and do it! And you have to be consistent. I finally did that and lost 125 pounds in about 10 months. You can do it too!

You are 95lbs o/w, might be because of harmonic imbalance.
You are not exercising. You should choose all sleeping postured exercises at least twice a day.
If possible see a Yog teacher and start with it.
If you are enough bold and don't afraid of death, "Go on water fast or cocoanut water fast". For first three days you will feel bad but from fourth day you will start repairing yourself. You will need 90 days' fast to give up this huge overweight; that too with exercises, without it may need more. During this period keep consulting a Naturopath.

I took phentermine, and bought it offline. I hate to say it but it worked. I have an appetite like a pig, no joke. Taking phentermine helped me to stop eating, and it gave me energy. I lost 100lbs. Exercise. Naturally you will have to start out slowly. Some exercise is better than none. It will get easier. The bad part about taking it, was that I was paying for it, I got used to it so I took more than I should have, its not good for your heart, and it's almost identical to speed.
After I took it I had a lot of mental illness. I gained all my weight back, because my hunger came back. However! If you can get the weight off, be determined to keep it off.

It must be very irritating that the doctors won't assist you in any other way but the tell you your problem. Sounds familiar.

Try high protein diets. Tuna, etc. Eat low fat foods. Eat smaller amounts of food. Like 1 cup.

You can do it. You have to change your life style. Clean out your fridge, pantry, everything. Start fresh. Try organic only. Vegitarian? No fast food. No sugers. If you eat, eat at home, and at home only provide yourself with healthy food. Eat in moderation. Write on a big piece of paper. EAT TO LIVE, NOT LIVE TO EAT. Take a bad picture of yourself. Put it on your fridge. If you eat emotionally, find something to take its place.
I did the organic thing because I told myself ok... your only eating organic, and if its not you cant eat it. Automatically I could not eat fast food, I had to eat fruit, and vegis.
Do a colon detox. Get rid of possible parasites in your stomach.
No saying today is the last day, after this last meal.... Now. And nobody can ruin it for you, they will admire your strength...

Music allows you to eat more. According to a survey by the journal Psychology along with Marketing, soft, classical tunes encourage that you take time over your mealtime, so you consume more foodstuff. So, switch off – silence will always make you more aware of what you’re setting up your mouth.

Buy smaller plates. Little crockery means portion control is quite a bit easier – those diminutive parts suddenly look huge and you’ll be happier to use less.

In the mood for any hot meal? Make a enormous pot of veggie bean soup, divide into two-cup containers, and store within the freezer. Before bed, place a container within the fridge, then grab it before heading out the door every day.
