Why do you need to recycle at all?? Just gift them flowers or somethin antique-looking from a junk sale :)

Depends on what the gift is that you want to recycle. If it's a nice one, in the $30-$50 range, is in good condition and makes sense as a wedding gift, it should be okay. But remember, the bride and groom are spending money on you by simply inviting you. If there are food and drinks at the reception, they're probably spending at least $50 per person. The least you can do is spring for that much on a gift. Check their registry before you decide. Most couples usually register for a range of items, as low as $10 to as high as $300.

Uno, I know a couple of people that buy stuff in 'bulk' and so they have a closet full of generic gifts they bought on sale. I should think that's about the same type of sentiment. It's not real personal...cheap is different. If it's a useful item that you think they might like, it's okay. ;)

If you choose to recycle a gift, which I believe everyone has, make sure the gift didn't come from the bride or groom.

Depends on whether u have the money or not for a present, and if the gift u plan on giving is of any value or has a special sentimental value

Do not re-gift. Don't be so cheap. You don't need to spend a lot on a gift for it to be nice. If you have things you don't need or cannot use, donate them to charity.

You're cheap. But why waste someone else's money on something YOU'LL never use when the happy couple will never know the difference. Go for it.

That is fine........just make sure someone in the bridal party didn't give you the gift........that would be embarrassing!

always check the registry and she what they want, especially if it is their first marriage..they will be needing a lot of things to set up house together, and you could really be helping them out.
