In Christian mythology, God is supposed to the the all-powerful, all-knowing creator of the universe. God is supposed to have incarnated himself as Jesus and he is supposed to have written the Bible. And yet today God is completely and absolutely silent. Therefore, the only thing we hear from God comes from people who are speaking on his behalf.
If you would like to understand how imaginary God is, all that you have to do is listen to God's spokespeople, because in many cases these people are lunatics. If there actually were a God, and if he actually had anything to do with love, he would silence these people because they are an absolute embarrassment.

You must not be listening or looking very well. God is everywhere!! He is in the chirp of the birds, the sun & moon, in the rain. Maybe you haven't been listening to or going to the right kind of services. You need to find a good church, one that gloriifies & worships God. You need to fall on your knees with an open heart and ask God to come into your life and sit and be quite & still and listen to what God does have to say!! IF you really search for Him you will find Him!!! I'll be praying for you!!

If god existed, and he loves you, why would he work in mysterious ways? He would want you to stay out of hell, so he would just descend from the clouds, and speak for himself telling you how to live. Why would he be mysterious and try to trick you? He should just tell us what religion is correct. Speaking on gods behalf sure sounds like a political weapon. If god was real, and he loved me, he would come down, get on CNN, and prove he was god, then tell me what to do.

of course god doesn't speak to them,he speaks through our spirit.
just like if you told a lie,and then got butterflies in your stomach.well,its pretty much the same way with god.
I UNDERSTAND what you are saying,however,these leaders do not claim that they are talking to god,but they are spiritually feeling god talk to them.its hard to put into words,but us Christians don't follow them as the pope,rather messengers.

During the lifetime of Jesus (who was an actual human who walked the earth) He was himself called a lunatic, a demon, demon-possessed & everything in between.
So, why would his "supposedly" followers be called anything but?
Why would some people not mock people who follow Jesus?
Why would some people not hate people who follow Jesus?
If God isn't love, why would He not silence people who mock Him (& mock people who supposedly follow Him)?

Those men and many others just like them are liars and the truth is not in them.
God isn't silent in the world today....we just won't shut up long enough to listen to Him. When we try to listen to God or talk to God, we automatically believe it's our imagination. I believe it is NOT your imagination. It's your truth and God lives in you.
