or so they thought. They put her ankle in a cast. Now her leg is shaking on it's own at times and causing her alot of pain. Most of the time it only stops shaking while she is asleep and in a deep sleep. They have done Mri's but can't find anything wrong. Anyone else have this happen to them or got any idea what's going on?

Take her to a podiatrist (foot and ankle specialist) or a neurologist (pediactric neurologist if she is a child). That's just not right.

Sounds like nerve damage, it's very hard to diagnose properly.
I was in a car accident about five months ago and I broke my tailbone. They did a full spinal MRI and Cat scan as well as a series of very painful x-rays and found nothing but a small fracture. I still have severe pain but there's just not much they can do for it.

maybe she has some sort of problem with her leg should go to see the doctor again
