Hi could anyone tell me how much does an emergency medical technician-basic make? ( i live in california ) and what's the schedule like? will i be able to work only twice a week? Thanks for taking ur time answering!

Im not positive about califonia but around the south east area they make anywhere between 6-8 dollars an hour. It will probably be higher where you are and it also makes a diffrence weather you work for a private service or county, city. this also applies to the shifts depending on what kind of services run in your area is weather or not youll do 24/48 or 12's or 8's or even a kelly shift. You'll just have to look into the services in your area.

I don't know what they make in Ca. but in NYC they don't make much and they have an awesome amount of responsibility. My daughter was an EMT in NYC.

Depends on your location. I live close to Nashville, TN and I know they they make close to $40,000-$45,000+. Not sure on the schedule and such, sorry.
