This is from WIlkipedia
My opinion?- Anything in excess will make anybody fat.
Moderation is the key.

Omega-3 fatty acids are polyunsaturated fatty acids classified as essential because they cannot be synthesized in the body; they must be obtained from food.

Important omega-3 fatty acids in human nutrition are: α-linolenic acid (ALA), eicosapentaenoic acid (EPA), and docosahexaenoic acid (DHA).

Omega-6 fatty acids are fatty acids where the term "omega-6" signifies that the first double bond in the carbon backbone of the fatty acid, counting from the end opposite the acid group, occurs in the sixth carbon-carbon bond

Linoleic acid,18:2), the shortest chain omega-6 fatty acid is an essential fatty acid. Arachidonic acid (20:4) is a physiologically signifigant n-6 fatty acid and is the precursor for prostaglandins and other physilogically active molecules.

Some medical research has suggested that excessive levels of omega-6 acids, relative to Omega-3 fatty acids, may increase the probability of a number of diseases. Modern Western diets typically have ratios of omega-6 to omega-3 in excess of 10 to 1, some as high as 30 to 1. The optimal ratio is thought to be 4 to 1 or lower. [1]

Dietary sources of omega-6 fatty acids include:

* cereals
* whole-grain breads
* most vegetable oils
* eggs and poultry
* baked goods.[2]

that's the way it works. something that's hydrogenated is in fact a trans fat. As all of us comprehend trans fat are unfavorable. in peanut butter, i noticeably propose getting a organic peanut butter, not jiff, or the different customary manufacturers as all of them have hydrogenated (trans) fat. The organic peanut butter will look somewhat unusual, thats by way of fact the solids and drinks tend to split whilst they sit down on the shelf. in basic terms stir it up as quickly as and you're stable to bypass. organic peanut butter in basic terms has peanuts, not the rest, no preservatives, or ingredients.
