The story, even if true, fails to prove the divinity of Jesus. A point the character, Sophie Neveu, the last descendant of Jesus, makes.

Da Vinci Code is partly fact and fiction based from the fact:)
Of course Da Vinci Code was written to tickle our mind..and of course to be a book seller..
Im not a Catholic. Yet I am a Christian. Its story about Constantine is fact.(like he promoted Jesus into godhood as he wants to conquer..he made a drama that he had a dream about his "calling" into Christianity..With this he capture the heart of the Christians and capture the lan where they lived, after..
Constantine was a Pagan. During those times, the most important thing for him was POWER..Religion is not important ofr him..neither Jesus or God...as he believes that he is the most powerfulman.
Yet, the part of the book that says that Jesus and Mary Magdalene was husband and wife, is fiction, because neither in the bible is not mentioned that Jesus was married an had a child.
Why is it so? Not because Constantine burn the original Bible or manuscript that states Jesus' story. Its because, it is mentioned in the Bible that "..not all has to be written.."
WHether Jesus had a family or not, He is pronounced Divine by God himself..I think there should never be an argument about this..Whether He had his family or not, It doesnt matter at all..For the reason why He was sent on earth and gave His life, is to bring back the connection between God and men..
For some the story shaken their faith..or better to say that people were given a chance to review their beliefs..as most of us inherited our religion from our parents.
For me, it made me hold to my religion stronger, as I realized that there are other people also who dont belong to my faith(religion) that coincides with our doctrines, beliefs and faiths.
