Show hI'm some signs, give a friendly smile or wave to him if you pass him in the halls. Flirt with him. And ignore those guys about being sexual it will freak him out if you are young which im guessing you are. Good luck hun!

It depends on your environment. Do you go to school together? Do you work at the same place? Is he a neighbor?
These generally work...
Ask questions. Let them see you are genuinely interested in what they have to say.
Use innocent touch. Touch their arm when you're making a point, but don't overdo it.
Smile. People smile at people who smile.
Drop hints. Give your crush clues you're interested. Mention casually you're not seeing anyone. Mention places you miss going to, or a movie you really want to see. Talk about things you know you are both interested in.
Stay in the line of sight. Find ways to spend more time with them, but don't stalk them!
Don't take flirting too seriously. The best flirts are the ones who can do it without expecting anything to come of it. Try flirting as an activity in itself, without worrying what the outcome will be.

Maybe just pass a note if you are shy. that works for me when i get shy but usally i just walk by and say hey and work up from there by starting a conversation when he is alone or just ask to talk to him in private. and act bubbly and happy not depressed guys don't like that.

That depends on how old you are. Maturity plays a part in one's approach. I think you are still quite young.
