Could be ringworm or leprosy. In leprosy, the patch is devoid of sensation. Prick with a pin and see. In ringworm, there are usually several light spots like raindrops.

This is most probably vitiligo, this is where the pigment in your skin does not concentrate in that area. It is not harmfull and can often fade with time. Go see you GP just to be sure.

Try an anti-fungal cream. It can be caused by a fungus.
