i have taken a total of 11 extra strength advil today, and i feeld messed up. could that be why?

no, from 5 pm to 1:00am i have consumed 11 extra strength advil, 4 at 5, 1 at 7, and a few inbetween, i think my last was around 8, i just feel weird now though (6 hrs later)

Its probably not a good idea what you did. However...when you say messed up that could mean a lot of different things.
Call the poison control center (phone book) and they will tell you what you need to do.

holy cow, are you trying to kill yourself?? NEVER take that many. I'll admit, I take up to five if I'm in serious pain, but 11? that's really going to screw you up. don't go to sleep right now, wait until you're feeling more clear-headed. if you don't after a few more hours, go to the emergency room and have them take a look at you.
in the future, if painkillers don't work well on you, try taking the recommended dose (*TWO*) with a bottle of cola, the caffine will help your body abosorb the painkiller better.

You are only supposed to take one or two every 4 to 6 hrs. Taking too many can mess you up bad and hurt your stomache.

advil is ibuprofen which in high doses is toxic to your kidneys. I've heard of people who took too many to commit suicide needing kidney transplants. You may want to head to the ER.

Don't worry I think that you will live another day. If you only took eleven since early this afternoon I would say that you will be fine. Go to bed and sleep it off. If you think that you aren't fine then call 911 for help...do it now.
