Nose Pierced?

Will it hurt? Will I look like a poser? Is it inconvenient (like blowing nose, washing face?)

It hurts similar to the amount of pain you get from getting your ears pierced.

My friend had it done, and basically if you keep it really clean you don't run into any problems.

And as for the poser thing... Who cares what other people think. The only way you were being a poser is if you were only getting it done b/c your friends were. If you honestly just wanna get it done, then you're not a poser at all!

I have a nice little silver nose ring. Its cute and everyone loves it. No, you won't look like a poser, and it no longer shocks older people thusly making them think you are a punk. It hurts for a minute or two. Once it is healed, you won't have any problems with nose blowing or face washing. At first it might be tender and you'll have to blow and wash gently, but still not a problem. I do take it out if I have a bad cold though, because I'm paranoid that something icky will get on it.

I have both sides of my nose pierced..just little silver balls. I think it looks better that way and kinda different. No you won't look like a poser..its just a nose piercing..it doesnt really hurt, your eyes just water..and it is not a pain to blow your nose or anything..maybe the first few days since you wont be used to it.
Get it done, you'll like it!

yes it will hurt for like 3seconds and then well it depends on how well can u take pain. dont worry about looking like a poser if u like it go for it. its kind of hard to maintain. yes its hard to wash face and when u dry face it get caught on the towel and comes out. try to get one that has tiny lil ball at the end that will keep it in place. remeber change it after 3 weeks than u can put the one with the ball . ur gonna have to push it in. the ball dosent unscrew. keep it clean always cause if u dont it will get infected. any other ? with peicings jsut ask me ok. glad to help.

just a little stone would look cute in a ladies nose. anything like a ring or that is really noticeable might make you look like a poser depending on the way you dress.

If u know something about India, There is a traditional fashion of getting nose & earlobes pierced. And almost every woman has it. It looks fine. and there is no such problems like that. Initially it will hurt a little but after it gets set you wont be able to notice it.

I have two rings in my right nostril. It didn't hurt nearly as much as getting my lip pierced, it healed faster, and I have had no problems blowing my nose, washing my face, etc. You can remove them when you don't want to wear them. As for looking like a poseur...do what makes YOU happy. Poseurs do what they think will make others happy!

Depends on the gauge. of course it will hurt, and the bigger the gauge the more it will hurt. inversely, the smaller the gauge, the bigger a poser you appear to be.
blowing it seems pretty close to normal, just make sure and look in the mirror for hangers on your ring afterwards.
it sucks when you have to pick your nose...

frankly i dun think it hurts...but even if ur tolerance of pain is low,
it will hurt for the first few days..and u will feel uncomfy cos not used to it...
hmm..abt lookin like a poser, i dun think so...unless ur doin it to impress sumone else and not bein urself...
and no its not inconvenient at all...u can blow ur nose as normal...juz make sure u keep it clean of course..
besides, the way i see it...juz do it, cos if u hate it, u can remove it....its not like havin a tattoo where u haf to think twice..
so dun worri so much, juz do it...

I know it hurts initially because my girlfriend got one! Although I can tell you that it looks very hot onwomen. I would recommend it. Im sure it doesnt pose any problem while performing daily chores.
