ok, we have 3 classes together and he's always talking to me. (actually in one class he had his seat changed because he kept turning around and talking) and he's being weird. not weird in a bad way or anything but as in the way a guy imaturely shows he likes you. i don't know whether or not he likes me, and i'm wondering if you could help. he insults me (no cussing or anything, but for a couple days it bothered me quite a bit, but he stopped calling me that paticular term) and you'd think, and so would i, that i could easily hate someone like this, but there is something about this guy that you can't hate. everyone i've talked to knows it, even he does (and i guess he uses it to his advantage) so i can't hate him... also he was throwing stuff at me too, missing though... and things along those lines. i don't think he hates me because even if i don't go up to him he usually walks after me, stands with me, and starts some conversation... what's with this guy? (btw we're both geeky types)

Oh yes, it sounds like he likes you. I'm pretty geeky, and have had the same thing happen before. I usually never did anything about it, and would find out when it was too late that they had liked me...so try and do something about it. He's probably too shy to just ask you out. Try and give him some pretty big hints that you like him....if you do. I hate it when they're so hateable and yet you can't stop thinking about them....those are the ones you fall the hardest for. He probably just doesn't have much experience with girls and doesn't know what to do. Have fun with it.

He likes you and annoyance is his pick-up line. He doesn't sound charming so don't fall for his immature ways. Your options are either ignore him, put up with his ways, ask him out, or tell him he's being weird.
I think the best thing to do is talk openly in class every time he does something weird, inadvertantly pointing out his actions to the rest of the class, he'll either get embarrased and stop doing it, or have the guts to ask you out in front of the whole class, and if that happens, you have the joy of rejecting him in front of the whole class.

you just said it yourself, he acts in the immature way when a guy likes a girl. if it was annoying sometimes, its probably because he's really into you and he just doesnt know how to approach you. from what i read, he does like. you said he called you a particular name, but he stopped when you said so. this means that he wasnt bullying you. he's doing a lot to get your attention buy talking to you, throwing stuff at you and walking with you.
if it still confuses you, why dont you just ask him?

I'm guessing he likes you! A lot of boys make fun of girls they fancy, normally when they are younger though. I totally understand what you mean about how you just cant hate him like there is something in him that you just cant hate about him. Well good luck finding the right answer hun!

Just be completely nice to him. Smile a lot. It'll confuse the heck out of him. He probably expects you to get annoyed and be mean. Distancing himself from you by being antagonistic is easier for him to deal with than just asking you out.
Of course, if he has a crush on you, you'll be leading him on. If you want to date him tho, nothing wrong with acting like it.

You needless to say understand and purely prefer human beings to tell you that adult males such as you. to boot....adult males are going to pay interest on any woman that's dancing around in short shorts and a tank appropriate...that's no longer that distinctive. You positioned on short shorts and adult males will look.
