Gee, so much hate. I'm not illegal, by the way, I just asked the question. (rolls eyes)

I think they are right. If you don't agree with what this country was founded on then get the **** out if not then shut up.

Well, as regards illegal immigration, I think there's a lot of merit in what's being discussed, I think it's high time the topic hit the table and got fully dealt with. You'd think there'd be plenty of 'sunshine' in Mexico and the southern US border states, but apparently not...
hence the need for a full discussion.

I assume you're pro-illegal, that you think it's right for people to illegally take up residence in the United States. I'm in disagreement with that. I feel that we've tolerated Mexico's free-style immigration 'policy' for years, far beyond any point that could be considered prudent. And now, we're reaping the results of it, and it's kind of an unpleasant awakening, but people are starting to realize there's a problem, and cities and counties throughout all the 50 states are themselves talking about it, and discussing the best ways to go forward, Bush signed the border fence bill, and Mexico's screaming bloody murder over anyone trying to prevent them from helping themselves to the United States.

America's got debt problems, overcrowding problems, infrastructure problems, and having Mexico trying to arc-weld themselves into our country for all perpetuity just isn't helping matters. The DOW may be high, but the debt is higher, and the
net result is that more and more of the proceeds from our economy, such as they are, are finding their way mysteriously to Mexico. It's a national thing, for them, to be doing this, and it just needs to stop. If there was no money and no jobs to be had, there'd be no illegal immigration.

What specifically are you talking about? Illegal Immigration, cause that's a bogus argument, being here illegally is illegal, so if they aren't here legally they need to leave, or are you speaking of the people that say if you don't support America, leave, cause I have to agree with that stand to, and tell them Love it, or Leave It, and don't let the door hit them on the way out. So could you be more specific cause I have a few more

No, most of them say, if you don't abide by our laws, then leave. Immigration is fine, illegal immigration is illegal.

Or they say, Love it or leave it. This means the freedoms here against whatever problem you have with society. (not you personally, but whoever) If you think your problem is greater than the freedoms given here, then leave and see if it will be better wherever you go. That is what they mean.

It's not whether you agree with Americans.

It's Are You Legally here in the United States?

Because if you're not you need to be deported because we are tired of paying for you illegal alien butt and the maggots you spawn here!

I haven't heard any American say that.
It's more like, "If you are here illegally, leave.", or "If you don't like America, leave."

I've never told anyone to get out if they didn't agree with me. But if someone is here illegally or has no respect for this country, there are other countries to reside in.

I might not agree with a person but I will agree with their right to their opinion. Freedom Of Speech

That would depend entirely on what you are talking about. If someone told you they planned an attack against this country wouldn’t you ask them to leave? What if they just told you they hated this country, the citizens in it and all it stood for? Would you invite them to stay as long as they like?

From posting on this forum, I know what you are trying to imply. The point is, if you are here illegally, then leave, and come back when you are legal, very simple concept.

I think those Americans are just part of that scary group of Republican freaks Bill O'reilly kind of people. Fortunately, there a lot of other good Americans.

Not agreeing with someone is not a reason to leave. If someone doesn't agree with the laws of this country, then yeah, I think they should leave or learn to respect it.
