I'm 13 and already at 5' 8''...is that good or bad to guys?

Honey, I was the tallest girl in my class from 3rd grade on. I agonized over it and shortchanged myself because of it. I had one bf who I loved so much but I never let it work out because I was petrified with fear over how we looked together. Like I towered over him. God I how regret all that wasted time and energy now.
Please don't let your height ruin your self image. Don't be a snob, don't be shy about it, just be comfortable being you. And remember all the short chicks who wish they were tall. (I always thought they were crazy because I wish I was short 'n cute but never was). Go with it honey. And look forward to modeling school.

hey my friend and i have the same "problem" and we are 13 too. technically it is not a problem because i have noticed that a lot of guys like girls that are tall. besides most guys will either be taller then you or the same height in a few years. i say "if you got it flaunt it" and in your case it would probably be your long legs which gives you a great advantage. and trust me i have had a bunch of guys like me that are shorter than me. just be sure that they are not more than 4" shorter than you.

Being tall will be great in a couple of years. The boys will finally catch up with you and love you for being tall. For right now - please stand tall and be proud. Don't slump. Practice good posture. You will look more self-confident than the other girls and the boys will want to be with you.

You cant change or control your height. They will either like you or not! If they wont show interest because of how tall you are then what would you want them for?
But to answer your question........too other 13 year olds, it will be intimidating to them because they are young & will worry too much about what there friends will say, or being made fun of.
Too guy's who are older,they wont care it's all about how you carry yourself!

Well guys will be very intimidated because they won't be able to look at you without looking up...
But the guys will grow up too and they will be over 6 foot so you got nothing to worry about.

I'm 5'8 also. I have never had a hard time finding a boyfriend. I even dated a guy shorter then me. Some guys like it because you are easier to kiss without them hurting their neck ;)

most girls have their growth spurts before guys do. right now you may be one of the taller than the guys in your class, but in a few years you won't be unless you keep growing. guys your age may be intimidated now but in a few years or so it wont matter, because they will either be about the same height or taller than you
