don't try to hard and what worked for me is being a good listener. I've learned that the popular girls at my school just want someone to tell all their problems to and someone who will actsually be interested, give advice, and say what they truly feel about their problem. People LOVE talking about themselves and having other ppl be interested, but if you don't like the girls then don't bother.The popular girls at my school are extremely nice and are friends with everyone and truly do the deserve the title of popular. I sit and talk with them at lunch sometimes but I've found that I can talk more when I'm with my friends. They also respect a person that knows where they stand. first of all being popular is not all that importnt but if it is something you must have then it is a lot of work.

1) you must be put together or neat and not all over the place for instance don't walk down the hall with yoour shoelace untied and shirt all wrikled.
2) don't be lost seem involved in something all times don't just stare in space.
3) dress for sucess if you want to be popular with the black people make sure you have the correct clothing or what ever group you interested in dress as if your already part of them
4) look happy people love to be around happy people
5) Be interested in people but don't get to involved be like thats so cool and don't crowd people to much for instance if you jst met this boy/girl don't be with the daily just like once or twice a week and slowly progress to more times a week.
6) Be yourself people can tell if your acting and its quite imbarassing.

Don't keep checking yourself, that is the trick of the game, just believe in yourself and don't give others power over if you are happy or not. one if you know the answer in class alot dont answer alot thats a sure way for you to get shot down either make a joke about it but only if its sure thing no one likes a person who thinks that think they r funny but no one's laffin if u cant think of a good joke say nothing at all just kinda look like ur zoning out dont commit to somthing you cant do or it WILL backfire find out about movies b4 they come out ghostrider,spiderman 3 etc etc use yahoo or other web sites that will show you movies monthes b4 hand then slip them n2 a conversation and dont do it dircetly with the cool kids at ur school do it with their lackys when heir not around this way you come up in the conversation l8r n the future without looking needy or annoying it gives off that just beig you vibe even if u arnt that cool but listen to their convo first yes im telling you to eves drop then wait for the right moment maybe drop ur pencil or he classic hide ur pencil and ask them for one even if they look at u in disgust it means u have their attention then slip i this kinda note example they are talkin about romance think of the best romance movie u can and say sothin like ya know u look just like that chick in *insert kickass movie here* even if the leader dont laff the backup firends will if they chuckle smile what ever you got them threw them get to leader following the proverb the best way to get to the king is threw the prince yadayadaydad *yoda *****
