Trinitarians always trying to make life difficult on things nobody's understand and even themselves cannot explain clearly, like:
The Holy Scriptures tell us the personal name of the Father—Jehovah. They inform us that the Son is Jesus Christ. But nowhere in the Scriptures is a personal name applied to the holy spirit.
Do you have a personal very close friend that you do not know his name?
Comment please. Explain as clearly as you can.

To EdwardJ, “This is not a presidential election; what you are competing is not with men but God. You are using judgments given by men to conclude is not the truth on the basis of men imperfection. Were not Jesus apostles accused of the same thing? (Acts 4:13) But what the history shows according to Jesus’ words: By their fruits yo'll recognize them. (Matthew 7:15-20) Jehovah used the intelligence of Brother Russell to restore His worship, and that he did. Governmental agency, secret police, and especially Christendom tried many times to ban and destroy Jehovah’s Witnesses, again and again; why were not able to do so? They are fighting against God! ( Acts 5:38-39) The majority recognize now that if the world were made of Jehovah’s Witnesses all the bad things we see in the world would not exist. May I suggest to you to go and read this book entitled “JEHOVAH’S WITNESSES a CHALLENGE” written by Helmut-Dieter Hartmann, a non JW when he wrote this.

EdwardJ, To answer your remarks:"your competing with God comment again suggests that somehow the Jehovah's witnesses exclusivly know God's will." Can you prove me differently?
And also: "Any careful examination will find the most unscholarly work produced and a completely ridiculous handling of the scriptures."

The Holy Spirit is God's Active Force....it's the power He uses to accomplish things. For example, Genesis 1:2 states: "Now the earth proved to be formless and waste and there was darkness upon the surface of [the] watery deep; and God’s active force was moving to and fro over the surface of the waters."
He used His active force to create the earth....it's His power. We don't have a specific name for electricity do we? We don't call it John or Bob...it's just electricity or power. Similarly, Holy Spirit is just Holy Spirit, or God's active force. Holy Spirit is what enabled Jesus to perform miracles.
"In the course of one of the days he was teaching, and Pharisees and teachers of the law who had come out of every village of Gal´i·lee and Ju·de´a and Jerusalem were sitting there; and Jehovah’s power was there for him to do healing." (Luke 5:17)
Jehovah is the Father, Jesus is the Son, and Holy Spirit is what Jehovah uses to get things done....each are seperate.

First of all, God has many many names. Not just Jehovah. In John 14:26 Jesus refers to the Holy Spirit as Counselor. Basically Holy Spirit is the Holy Spirit's Name just like the son's name is Jesus.

The Holy Spirit is not your close friend. He is your God. Jesus, God incarnate, frequently spoke of both the Holy Spirit and the Father as "He", indicating that they are both Persons. Persons He Himself had been with for all eternity. How could there be a more graphic presentation of the Holy Trinity than the baptism of Jesus? God the Son standing in the water, as God the Father spoke audibly from heaven, as God the Holy Spirit descended upon God the Son in visible form.

Jehovah's Witnesses teach that no salvation occurs without Christ, that accepting Christ's sacrifice is a requirement for true worship, that every prayer must acknowledge Christ, that Christ is the King of God's Kingdom, that Christ is the head of the Christian congregation, that Christ is immortal and above every creature, even that Christ was the 'master worker' in creating the universe! Both secular dictionaries and disinterested theologians acknowledge that Jehovah's Witnesses are a Christian religion.
Rather than quoting from such trinitarian sources as philosophy, Greek mythology, and quotes from other Babylon-loving Trinitarians, Jehovah's Witnesses believe that the Scriptures alone quite plainly demonstrate that Jesus and the Almighty are separate distinct persons, and the Almighty created Jesus as His firstborn son.
(Colossians 1:15) the firstborn of all creation
(Mark 10:18) Jesus said to him: 'Why do you call me good? Nobody is good, except one, God.
(Revelation 3:14) the Amen says, the faithful and true witness, the beginning of the creation by God
(Philippians 2:5-6) Christ Jesus, who, although he was existing in God's form, gave no consideration to a seizure, namely, that he should be equal to God
(John 8:42) Neither have I come of my own initiative at all, but that One sent me forth
(John 12:49) I have not spoken out of my own impulse, but the Father himself who sent me has given me a commandment as to what to tell and what to speak
(John 14:28) I am going my way to the Father, because the Father is greater than I am
(1 Corinthians 15:28) But when all things will have been subjected to him, then the Son himself will also subject himself to the One who subjected all things to him
(Matthew 20:23) this sitting down at my right hand and at my left is not mine to give, but it belongs to those for whom it has been prepared by my Father
(1 Corinthians 11:3) I want you to know that the head of every man is the Christ; ...in turn the head of the Christ is God
(John 20:17) I am ascending to my Father and your Father and to my God and your God.
(Deuteronomy 6:4) Jehovah our God is one Jehovah
(1 Corinthians 8:4-6) There is no God but one. For even though there are those who are called "gods," whether in heaven or on earth, just as there are many "gods" and many "lords," there is actually to us one God the Father

the holy sprt is joshua. your best friend. He doesnt lie to you nor doesnt confuse you he just wants the best for you he is a master manipulator that you cant win. let make this easy Jehovah is the father jesus is the son and joshua is the heir to the throne of God.
He is your imageny friend somebody whos always there for you but cant help you cuz he is dead. he is a ghost. As a ghost he is able to haunt you. By haunting i mean manipulating your thoghts to make you do good deeds. When you dont listen to him he will ignore you.
i would say he is heir to the throne because god kill joshua at birth knownig that if his kingdom had two sons the battle for heaven would have be fought in heaven not in earth.
thats why Joshua is a ghost he is on earth watch over us ready to go to heaven and sit on the left hand of jehovah with jesus on the right side of his father.

I'm with you on this one. Do you ever wonder about what name God goes by, if he was three in one. He is Jehovah the Father. Jesus the son. Holy Spirit the Holy Spirit. By what name would one address the one true God, other than God. I know he holds many titles, but under what name would they call him by, if they were to address him by name?

This question posted is by an adherent of the Jehovah Witness faith. To gain a good understanding of it's origin and it founder I recommend the book the Kingdom of the cults by Walter Martin. It is an important read for many Christians to understand the dubious and unscholarly work they produce in an effort to simply try and confuse Christians. Their Founder Charles Russell Tazz was criticized for knowing nothing of systematic or historical theology, and of being totally ignorant of the dead languages in which the bible was written. So Mr. Tazz sued the person who made this claim. Russell vs. Ross defamatory libel March 17, 1913 High Court of Ontario, Canada. When being examined by Lawyer Stauton he said he knew the Greek language. When it was produced he couldn't even read the alphabet. He later admitted he was unfamiliar with the Greek language. Thereby perjuring himself. When pressed further he admitted he knew nothing about Hebrew or Latin either. This was the same person who came up with many of the un-bibllical doctrines his adherants still promote although they distance themselves from their founder. I don't for a minute deny some people have done bad tings in the name of their religion. CHarles Russell was no acception. The unfortunate part is most people are unaware of his unscrupulus character and his poor academia or they would have never swallowed his theories in the first place. I think your comment about not a Presidential election is irrelevent. It kind of silly to be honest. I'm not involved in politics and am in a country that doesn't have a President, if that really matters here or there. secondly, your competing with God comment again suggests that somehow the Jehovas witnesses exclusivly know God's will. Any careful examination will find themost unscholarly work produced and a completely ridiculous handling of the scriptures. The Jehovah's wittnesses didn't even get it right about the name Jehovah. I have no personel aversion to the use of this name but to suggest it is the only correct name demonstrates the shameless manner in which the scriptures are approached. Listen to this quote from colliers Encyclopedia "J. the tenth letter of the English alphabet has no ancient ancestor, unless, as a recent variant of l and i. It's origin can be regarded as related to that of these letters. Not until the sixteenth century was any systematic effort made to indicate vocalic i with with the sign i and consanantal i with the sign j. "J" the capital was introduced at this time. This should be fairly clear. This is why you to tis day hee people call Joshua, Yoshua. the letters that were used in the old testament were YHWH. with no vowels being known for sure. Again I have no aversion to the use of Yahweh, or Jehovah other than any vowels could have been as easily subsitutted as no one knows for sure what they were. This is why you will not find the letter J appearing in english literature before the 16th century. Jesus spoke the Hebrew language no doubt some Aramaic as well, at the time Greek was spoken in that region as well. None of these languages contained the letter J. Feel free to disbelieve me but check it out with a linguist who is familiar with the ancient languages. As far as Christians not being able to destroy Jehovas witnesses because they are of God isn't a valid argument. I don't know anyone who tried to destroy them, but merely disagreed and felt they were defending their own faith. I could as easily use the argument that the Christian faith wasn't destroyed because they were fighting against God. So that argument is irrelevant. There are many faiths that exist with many members isn't solely a reason to claim God's endorsement. As for Jesus being God hebrews 1:8 But of the son he says thy throne oh God is forever. Which happens to be a quote from psalms 45:6 In John 8:58 Jesus said to them truly truly I say to you before Abraham was I am. Immediatly they pick up stones to throw at him. The Jews understood this as the phrase uttered by God in the old testament which is why they wanted to stone him. Exodus 3:14 and God said to Moses I am who I am. And thus shall you say to the sons of Israel I am has sent me to you. Revelation 1:8 I am the Alpha and Omega says the Lord God who is and who was and who is to come, the Almighty. This chapter is a revelation of Jesus Christ and verse 7 makes it clear it is Jesus being talked about in verse 8. verse 7 says Behold he is coming with the clouds, and every eye will see him, even those who pierced him; and all the tribes of the earth will mourn over him, even so Amen.

There was not much definition to the Holy Spirit, so this is mine.
The Holy Spirit is the collective union of the earth bound spirits. The Trinty are not apart, instead they are joined and create a circle, if you will.
When we die, are we so vain to think that heaven will be as each of us wish it to be? No. When we pass from this plane of reality we will become one with the Holy Spirit, and thereby complete the circle.

that shiny white dove fluttering around that is often referred to as "The Holy Spirit" is what's left of the Mother Goddess once the patriarchal high priesthood got done with Her.
think about it ...
The Father, The Son ... where's Mom?
hmmm how interesting. my answer was the only answer radically different from the others and the only one with a thumbs down. seems most Christians are so fixed in their conditioned concepts they simply can't handle historical facts, simply can't accept the truth.
Jhn 14:17 [Even] the Spirit of truth; whom the world cannot receive, because it seeth him not, neither knoweth him: but ye know him; for he dwelleth with you, and shall be in you.
