There's a gap in Genesis 1 somewhere after the 2nd or 3rd verse (not sure where), something was removed from the very begining by God. Anyone have any idea what it might be even though we will never know?

Some things are left a mystery while we are here on Earth. The Bible is a book perfectly composed of everything that God wants us to know. All of our questions will be answered in Heaven. :)

Although it is not clear what these creatures would be called today, the Behemoth (Job 40) and the Leviathan (Job 41) could easily be dinosaurs. Read their descriptions, and it wouldn't take much to believe that they were dinosaurs.

As to the gap theory, that is basically a load of hogwash. This theory was first postulated by the old Scofield Reference Bible. In it, Scofield allowed for this theory so that the biblical record and the fossil record could agree. In later editions, this theory was removed.

The gap theory assumes that in Genesis 1:1, the earth was created, but in Genesis 1:2, God judged that earth, and recreated it in Genesis 1:3, hoping that the time frame matches the scientific theory. Others will ask, "How long was a day during creation?" hoping that the answer is millions of years long each.

This theory requires a person to read into the Bible what is clearly not there. The issue really boils down to this. Either God has made His Word completely inerrant and all sufficient, and something we can trust, or He didn't. If the Bible is not trustworthy in its details, then why bother at all?

Ultimately, either man becomes the arbiter of what is true in the Bible, or God meant what He said. As Paul says, "Let God be true, and everyone else a liar. As it is written: "You are right when you speak, and win your case when you go into court." (Romans 3:4)

No gap and the ancient Hebrews had no idea there were dinosaurs. Since God inspired them to write about creation without giving them a lot of useless details to confuse the true message, we have a Bible without dinosaurs.

Ahhh, maybe because the Bible and Man didn't exist until thousands of years after dinosaurs were extinct?!?! (Is this for real?)
And if they didn't exist, who did all those giant bones belong to? Unusually large and clumsy Palestinian women?
Here's a clue, notice at the end of a date there's either an AD or BC? Well, the AD means after the death of Christ, and BC means before Christ...In this case WAY before Christ... that should help clear a few things up huh!?!
Talk about a revelation!

If dinosaurs actually existed as a life form, why isn't it mentioned in the Bible?

Friend if you know the history AD, BC ( before Christ), The history of Jesus is known for only 2000 years. But the life of Dino which ruled the world was million years. The advanced science and technology, Fossils discovered was in mid of 19 th century so it was the reason for non indication in Bible.

There is no gap in Genesis. I just read Genesis a couple of weeks ago. In Job, it mentions large lizards. Dinosaurs? I think so.

Does it have to say anything about the dinosaurs. The bible only tells us what we need to know. Obviously dinosaurs was apart of creation but died out.

No I don't think there is a gap
